Kent has admitted in the past that Ricky is a good mate. I wonder what stance they would have taken if it was a Broncos halfback playing under Seibold last year? I'm not saying I completely support Williams, I just find it amusing that the Faiders are in turmoil, but there was no balance in last night's 'discussion'. Lara Pitt and Ikin were the only two trying to bring offer some balance and both Kent and the loudmouthed Hooper just kept trying to talk over the top of them. They succeeded with Lara for the most part but I think Ikin got the last say over the loudmouth and put him back in his place to some extent.

Ironically my wife and I were watching the show last night and commented on how much Kent and Hooper dismiss and ignore Lara Pitt. It's so obvious that I can't believe the producers havent picked it up.

They don't even look at her when they talk - it's like she isnt even around.

Kent was in total c&nt mode the other night and needs to pull his head in. It was absurd.

Yeah it happens every week. I pointed it out to my husband a few weeks back. But it was even more noticeable last night. No point her being there if she's just a token female.

I find Lara generally keeps her mouth shut unless she can add value to the conversation with a well-researched point. It makes it even more annoying when Hoops interrupts her with his personal opinions.

As a female who loves the Roosters and Rugby League since I was about 11 years old - and trust me that’s a very long time - I find this very disappointing. Lara obviously loves the game too. Am I only here on the Chookpen for the PC brigade? No, I’m here because I love our club and have followed the game for 40 plus years. Lara has every right to try her luck as a serious rugby league journalist as any bloke would because she loves the game too. And she’d make a better journo than that loud mouthed bald idiot anyway.

She’s not just there for the PC brigade and her opinions should be treated with respect by Kent and Hooper. Unfortunately she does support a crap team though.

That’s what I was trying to say in my previous post JB. She’s a good journalist who loves the game and is passionate about it. I don’t think she’s a token appointment at all. She knows her stuff.

In fairness to the Kid though MR he didn't say you were here for the PC brigade, he said Lara was.

Anyones prescence on a tv panel is a management decision, whereas you are here of your own volition, and we are all very pleased that you are!

Re Lara, I would make her host of the show instead of Bikin. That would give her the right platform and some control over the bully boys like PK. Its the wrong dynamic as shes too nice and seeks approval from the other numbnuts which makes her look less smarter than she really is.
