He is a fill in guy for injuries & Origin..Nothing more..

Agree with all of that. I'm a fan of Perrett's, and I don't think Carney's that great. I wasn't as impressed by the You Tube highlights reel as others when we first bought him, however, I also think the current criticism is way over-the-top.

One thing though, given that he had eye-surgery in the off-season you would have thought they could have booked him in for a spiderman hand transplant. Oh well, from Mr Magoo to Edward Scissorhands...
