  • Jason Taylor prediction - Roosters 5th

Read the Sun Herald Footy Guide on the weekend and was suprised JT put us in 5th. Not sure how he can stay independant given his role with the Roosters. It hasn't got much media so it's obvious noone really cares about his thoughts.

It's also hard to take someone seriously when they have 3 teams at 6th, and 9 teams in the top 8. He has also put Cowboys at 11th. The numbers below are his actual predictions.

    1 - Tigers
    2 - Eagles
    3 - Storm
    4 - Knights
    5 - Roosters
    6 - Broncos
    6 - Bulldogs
    6 - Dragons
    8 - Souths
    9 - Warriors
    11 - Cowboys
    12 - Eels
    13 - Panthers
    13 - Raiders
    15 - Sharks
    16 - Titans

Manly 2nd? Hahahaha.. Tians and Eels won't be that low on the ladder, neither will Cowboys and Panthers. I have doubts about Dragons being in the top 8 as well.

Tigers? If Marshall is out for a game, they're nothing. Marshall is still injury prone IMO!!!

                    Agree.
Was only this morning talking to a punter, who likes the Tigers for the comp, but had to agree they are very ordinary once you take Marshall out of the team.

I wonder if there was a reason he put Titans so low - Myles?

Thats what happens when you have the best attacking player in the game in your side. The Cowboys are in the same boat.

But if you look at the Roosters & the way Smith has had all players except Pearce SKD & Perrett play in another position. It gives the club alot more depth. If we lose either of our halves we are covered we have every position covered.

Theoretically SKD can and has played on the Wing and Perrett has also played Centre (not overly successful) and Fullback. Pearce at a worse case could play 5/8 I reckon and some may say he is better suited as a hooker though obviously not yet proven apart from one 40 minute stint that I recall.
