    from the rule book:

If the Player had been actually selected to play in a Representative Match at the time when the suspension was imposed, the Representative Match in which he would have participated but for his suspension shall be taken into account and, once played and concluded, shall reduce the Player’s allocated or accumulated demerit points by 100 demerit points.

Gus is fine, rads is iffy but surely Freddy puts in a good word!

I'm not sure how that applies to Gus?

If he was selected Sunday night then the charges raised on the Monday, that may be a factor.

But his suspension was determined a week ago.

But he wasn't picked.... very easy for this rule to be abused by coaches or affiliated rep staff.

Not saying you are wrong but I can't get the interpretation out of that rule that you do?

Incumbents must have some latitude I'd hope but don't know.

According to the NRL Site SOO games must have been counted - 1 for Crichton and 2 for Radley as otherwise Crichton would be back in round 15 with his 2 games deemed as rounds 12/14 since round 13 is the bye and Radley round 18 with his 5 games deemed as rounds 12/14/15/16/17- as round 13 is the bye.

The Roosters can apply for an Origin appearance to count towards Radley's suspension to have him back on deck earlier, though the club would need to prove he would have been picked for the Blues for that to be successful.- ditto Crichton
        • Isaac Liu (eye, TBC)- possibly 2 to 3 weeks out
        • Nat Butcher (ankle, TBC) - possibly 3 to 6 weeks out
        • Angus Crichton (suspension, round 14)
        • Freddy Lussick (arm, round 14)
        • Boyd Cordner (concussion, round 14)
        • Sam Verrills (eye, round 14-16)
        • Victor Radley (suspension, round 16)
        • Drew Hutchison (ribs/punctured lung, round 16-17)
        • Billy Smith (shoulder, mid-season)
        • Luke Keary (knee, season)
        • Brett Morris (knee, season)
        • Lindsay Collins (knee, season)

Not weird at all. Robbo usually keeps team selections to himself.

FWIW Robbo said he didn't expect any of the injured guys back against the Titans just Crichton to return from suspension.

Also it now looking like Nat Butcher could be out between 3-6 weeks.

Yeah it’s more if he was a certainty to be picked which based on being an incumbent and one of the form backrowers he was covered.

Rads is a different story though. So hopefully we can get some support from Fittler!!
