Not sure where Symonds is would have liked too have seen him at 5/8. Not sure why only 3 reserves are named.

I would have thought Jones at 6 instaead of Sa?

I really feel Waqa is not FGer yet.. He needs to adapt to league in the lower grades, its his first season in this sport, how we expect him to play FG this year is suprising..

If Symonds misses out I'll be unsurprised but disgusted as he has been very good and the experience of continuing to be in FG will be invaluable for next year.
Hopefully we see more involvement from the laziest of the lazies Sa.

Symonds is named on the bench

If Sa plays 5/8 in attack, all the attack will go the other way, ie to Pearce.
Hopefully Sa plays 5/8 in defence and Jones plays 5/8 in attack, or Symonds gets a go at 60min and Sa to the backrow.

                      I would have tried:

                      1. Perrett
                      2. Towers (Towers > Waqa)
                      3. Aubusson
                      4. Sa
                      5. Kenny-Dowall
                      6. Symonds
                      7. Pearce
                      8. Paea
                      9. Friend
                      10. Myles
                      11. Cherrington
                      12. Shackleton
                      13. Fitzgibbon

                      14. Jones
                      15. Kouparitsas
                      16. Mason
                      17. Nuuausala

I believe Sa is more useful to us at five eighth or on the interchange bench. He needs to get his hands on the ball around the fringes. He gets bored out in the centres.

I find him too ponderous when carrying the ball..

Vasco, he can avoid being 'bored' out in the centres by actually making an effort and actively becoming more involved - ie; getting in a position to take a hit up, get his hands on the ball etc.

If the bloke's not prepared to play anywhere in the 17 he's put and make an effort in whatever position he's placed then he's not worthy of a first grade spot and the Jets await.

That's why where in the position we're in, because those that matter tolerate a lack of effort and 'boredom' from certain players as the norm.
