HUGE performances by Perrett, Kenny-Dowall, Pearce (showed what he can do), Paea, Friend, Fitzgibbon and Shackleton. No particularly below-par performances either.

I am happy we showed some bloody spirit tonight to get the win. We need to do it every week. We really have to fix the goal line defense though. Lucky the sharks are really only packing a pop-gun. Next week against the dragqueens will not be easy for us to even be competitive if we don't ensure our execution and defence.

FPN was really the only below-par player, and that is because I am 99% sure he didn't play the second half? Paea, Shack, Fitzgibbon played huge minutes and led the go-forward, Mason looked a fair bit stronger than he has been this year, Symonds and Kouparitsas ran great lines and supported Sa and Pearce very well. And Cherro, he is just one big and angry unit!

I think this win will do our youthful players a load of confidence. Expect to see Symonds, Cherrington, Jones, Sa, Friend, Nuuausala...and maybe Earl too...flourish rapidly over the next few weeks. Maybe give Williamson and Towers a bit of opportunity too, and I think we will see a great young brigade forming!
