Cummins has confirmed that the penalty (penalty/bin/sendoff) for a high shot is impacted by whether the player stays down or not. How dumb are the NRL to have that as a factor. They've completely lost the plot.

100% it means they’re no longer in control of the contest as they let the players influence their decision making.

I’m glad we’ve calmed down on the sin bins but this also can’t be the new state of the game where we only sin bin based on whether a player gets up or not. We saw with Proctor and Tino they were happy to lie down for penalties in that first half.

The warning on JWH sounded like a mixed netball call.

'Hey mate warning... can you turn it down? You haven't done anything wrong but we like space in this tournament'.

Fair enough if it's Tuesday night netball, but this is their job and Proctor isn't a little wimp.

Titans are well in this game - dominating possession (61 to 39% ) and field position (69% to 31%) - 19/23 to 13/17 Complete sets - 31 to 2 tackles in opposition 20 - Chooks 7 errors/ 5 penalties and 3 set restarts conceded - Titans - 5 errors/ 1 penalty and 1 set restart conceded - Missed tackles - Chooks 25 to Titans 15 - Crichton 5 - Walker and Keighran 4 - JWH and Baker 3 the main offebders.

Big Second half coming up

Those stats are largely padded out by a lopsided penalty count. They haven’t earned that dominance through yardage sets, kicking game or their transitions so it makes it look like they’re going a lot better than they actually are.

You’d imagine as the penalty count evens itself out in the 2nd half so will those stats unless they can turn it around in the 2nd half
