Happy game day everybody. I woke up to the sound of the local Rooster crowing in the neighbour's backyard. He's been quiet for a while because of all the construction in my area but this morning he was loud and clear. I'll take that as an omen for tonight. Here is a channel I found last night for those who would like to watch games they may have missed. Enjoy:

I bought that on DVD from the NRL when they used to release them and I was collecting it from the post office across the road when I ran into Fletch and I said I'm holding one of your epic games in my hand..

2018 grand final is my personal favourite the intensity the Chooks played with was just splendid to witness live.
          Honourable mentions:
2013 Semi & GF vs Manly 2018 PF vs Souths & 2019 GF vs Canberra.

Has to be the 1975 GF, closely followed by the 2000 Qualifier against the Knights.

This one right here, the Dogs fans after the match tore up the north end of our stadium and wanted to fight any Rooster fan on site, totally wild, we were untouchable that night.

It's still frustrating how we tossed away the 2004 premiership with that god awful second half performance.

That was the game the team gathered at Kevin Hastings house before the match as he lived very close by to Lidcombe Oval. Fairfax's kick hit the uprights and ricocheted straight back into his arms while he running at full speed, amazing try. Kevin Hastings had a blinder also scoring two tries, Kerry Boustead scored a runaway try off an intercept and Ken Wright had an immaculate game goal kicking wise kicking 7 from 7.

That team didn't like the rain....I shuddered before the game when it started to come down.....bloody Homebush!

Is that the game where Roosters scored a try, then right from the kick off Salvo caught the ball and went through and put Brendon Hall over for another try . I remember the score being locked up 14-14 then Easts got a penalty in front and kicked the penalty goal to win 16-14.

Yes that was the game - Mario Fenech was sin binned and we gave it to him as even though he was playing for the Bears he was still a Vermin in our eyes

The GF wins will always hold a special place in my heart. So 02 GF is my favourite game live.

As for the regular season games its hard to go past the 2004 ANZAC day game - Freddie solo try!

Round 1 2012, best finish to a regular season game, considering the opposition. Cordner's kicking to the' pickup and score by Mini at the death. The faces of Crowe and the Souffs fans on the big screen was priceless.

Funny how you don't see any of those bandwagon dullbog fans at their games anymore.

"Outside of grand finals though I’d say the 2013 qualifying final against Manly that ended 4-0."
                              ditto
                              SBW was phenominal that day

2013 GF, coming from 18 to 8 down and powering over the top of Manly was awesome. Fantastic night.
Another for me was the 2004 Anzac Day when Freddie stepped his way through for a gutsy win by a depleted Roosters side. In the James Cook Hotel after the match Freddie’s try was in the delayed replay and the whole joint started chanting FREDDIE, FREDDIE, FREDDIE……..
