Most enjoyable: 2018 grand final
Most satisfactory: 2018 prelim
Closest/best battle: 2013 first week 4-0 win over Manly
Most exciting finish: 2012 r1 vs Souths tied with 2019 latrell field goal vs Melbourne (also attended the 2015 GF but wasn’t as invested)
Best comeback: 2013 GF
Most stressful: 2019 GF
Best non roosters game: 2006 tri nations final
For good measure - most embarrassed: 2007 smashing by manly at brookie (Chris Anderson’s last game as coach) when I was a young teen
Most disappointing: 2014 prelim tied, 2017 prelim a close secondLast edited by NorthChook; 07-09-2021, 04:51 PM.

Wondering what favourites others might have, whether that be club games, Origins, Tests, Grand Finals, etc?

So many great games and memories...of all the games mentioned I reckon I was at all but about 4 or 5 of them.
For tension, it's hard to split the 2013 semi v Manly (4-0), the 2018 Souffs prelim and the 2019 GF.
But my all time favorite is the 2000 prelim v the Knights. To this day, I have never lost the plot at a game like I did that night. I'd probably had two beers tops, but I was off my head - point in time the best feeling I've ever had at a game. Still gives me goosebumps to this day whenever I watch it.

I already said earlier the Roosters v Souths 2018 last game at the SFS. Electric.
This game is near the best, it was the 2003 preliminary final at the SFS against the Bulldogs. I didnt have a ticket & it was sold out but I managed to sneak in, Id managed to get in after getting access to the loading dock area in between the SFS & SCG, I eventually walked through the opening in the stand that used to be at the show ground end you could drive a truck through it. Once I got in I walked all the way around the ground & was loitering around bay 34, 35, 36, eventually I managed to get into bay 36 but could not get a seat so I sat on the step right up the back of bay 36 its an area where you can fit a pram anyway eventually I got asked by a female worker who was policing the bays what I was doing & I told her that I was spinning out down in the middle of bay 36 & was just getting a breather & she left me alone.
The part that was the best of all was after the Chooks had won the game & the Bulldogs supporters were leaving on mass I started the chant "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" clap clap clap & then every Rooster supporter in bay 34, 35, 36 & 37 joined in, it was UNBELIEVABLE.
2 or 3 thousand Chook supporters chanting WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, ahhh so good.Last edited by Mickie Lane; 07-09-2021, 10:18 PM.

The 75 grand final was amazing as was the 20-0 whitewash of Manly at the SCG in 1977, the 1982 Easts-Manly clash which we won 40-2, also featured the best try I've ever seen. The 98 and 2000 comeback wins v Newcastle and also the amazing semi win against the Tigers in 2010, Plus the 18 and 19 grand finals.
