  • Shaun Kenny Dowall

Im always amazed at how much this bloke gets bagged on these forums , in the next 4 years he has the potenial to go down as the roosters greatest try scorer ever, a true try scoring machine , who else do we have in our backline with that type of ability ? to those of you who doubt this kids toughness , i was at the full contact scrimmage where he got his injury to his kidney , contesting a high ball at full pace the injury occurred in a collison with the opposing fullbacks knee , he went on to let me repeat blow the opposing team off the park in 30 mins scored 2 trys and set up 1 other yes thats with a split kidney , thats the difference with the haves and have nots , SKD will be back in rounds 4 or 5 a massive year awaits him and our team roosters for the top 4

Maubs definitely my first pick centre

SKD has to compete with Moga for the other spot, both are injured so whoevers ready first

until Moga drops the pill hes my fav to keep the spot should he get first bite

I'm confident SKD can fight his way back but his standard will have to lift to challenge the young prodigy

Im confident SKD will be a walk up starter the moment he is fit to resume. He was voted the Best centre in the game 12 months ago - Mogga hasnt played first grade yet.

He's a very good player, offers our team something no other player does since Carney has left. There's no way he'll be left out.

He does a lot of stupid stuff but that's usually the consequence of bordering on brilliance.

there are natural born football players and there are natural born athletes.
skids is an athlete and is learning football.
my picks would be moga on the wing with skids on the inside and maubs inside of sam on the other side.

Only a buffoon would continually shove Maubs in the centres.

SKD and Moga will be our centre pairing as soon as SKD is fit.

Out that long? I thought the suspected laceration just ended up being severely bruised kidneys?

Yes Maubs knows how to hit a hole, and is good in defense, however there is no strike power with him. I like the bloke, however we are going to lack points this year, and Skids is a must.
