He will challenge and win. Like JWH did.

It’s important because he only has one chance to take a fine instead of a suspension. If he cops the fine now next time he gets a grade one careless it will be a suspension.

BTW how is it careless? What a joke.

I'll make it easy for the nrl.
intential , dangerous head contact: send off.
reckless: reaching out laterally..sinbin on report
careless with injury: Tackling kicker in air and contact causing injury...sinbin, penalty and on report
Careless with out injury on kickerenalty
accidental: head contact from front on tackle: play on, but on report.

just be CONSISTENT and get it right.

I find it ironic you allude to my being paranoid then suggest the reason this happens to the Roosters is because of actions the ESDRLFC took 26 years ago? Or have I misunderstood you completely? Apologies if I have.
Hate is the only thing that keeps the Murdoch's alive. Compare it to the Packer's. They let go of their anger and die young...Rupert is going to live until he's 100...he's only just 80. He's Monty Bloody Burns.

Funny thing about these rule enforcements the nrl are dictating is there are more concussions from defending than attacking. Ffs.

How do you determine what is intentional, reckless, careless, and accidental? Particularly with a player heart-rate at 180bpm. I like the rest, except dangerous.

If there is an accidental head clash does the defender get sin binned? Probably not so, its ok to accidently hit someone in the head as long as it is with your head and not your arm?

These current NRL interpretations are diabolical and juvenile.

not sure but i think they're got 3 chances before they start missing games and then another one for the finals

I think this will be a bit of good news!
Asofa-Solomona, who has four guilty findings within the last two years, is looking at a two-week ban for a dangerous contact charge. If not for the prior offences, the Storm giant would only have been looking at a fine.

SST's one of the softest/gentlest blokes out there when it comes to anything other than a legit tackle. Even Cleary's dad said it was BS during his conference (which IMO has a lot of weight because he's literally talking about his son's welfare & saying they had no concerns about it).

I'd argue that if anything, SST's big meaty arm and his gentle holding of Cleary (rather than dropping him on the ground hard he placed him down gentle) acted as a protective cradle that softened the impact (if anything).

IMO this is a broader another issue. Big islanders like SST are usually extremely aware/respectful of other people's welfare to the point where their instinct is to protect an opposition player who is slipping into a bad position. Do we want a game where such people start stepping outta the way of falling players (including situations where their head/back is about to go crunch) rather than reaching out to protect them coz even a protective cradle for their head is gonna result in a send-off? (Sorry 'sin-bin' in Vland-arse's new world... not that an 80-minute 'send-off' is really a thing, unless you do something that's gonna land you in a prison cell for the night [e.g. bash up the ref or the fans... never happened to my knowledge, and IMO it's not an option for any sort of high tackle... maybe for farking Munster losing it and kicking a guy, followed by an 8 week suspension as he has done it before? Oh sorry... the Melbourne Project must succeed, sorry... can't say that]).
What if our player comes up from the try line to make a tackle, sees the attacker slipping so he pulls his arms out of the way because he can’t make high contact, player gets up and dives over for a try.

I would rather they fight it so that maybe someone gets an explanation as to what SST was supposed to do. That was Robbo’s question in the presser.

NRL is becoming a form of touch footy.

Look at the lopsided scores this weekend, there’s no grunt to the games anymore.

it’s no longer the game it used to be.
