That sounds very good to me mate!! It would require Mini going to either Leeds or St Helens as they seem the only 2 english teams who win it.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

    Here's looking at you, kid.

It would kill me to see him at another NRL club. Can he not just join the coaching staff?

He's achieved pretty much everything that you can in league. Grand Final winner, Challenge cup winner, played for N.S.W. and Australia, golden boot winner, one club man. He should hang the boots up, not be Ricky Ponting.

No, I don't mean to say that he is a cun....cun....cun....cun....continuing source of aggravation for me, just that he should not hang around too long. Like that bad wet smell you get if you leave wet towels around too long.

Mini hopeful of new Roosters NRL deal

Sydney Roosters fullback Anthony Minichiello remains hopeful of securing a new contract beyond 2012, despite claims he is being pushed out of the NRL club.

Minichiello, who floated the possibility of a move overseas if a Roosters deal was not forthcoming, said he was in no rush to get his future sorted - and he had faith that the club would look after him.

"To be honest, I can't see myself pulling on another jersey in the NRL," Minichiello said on Friday morning.

"That's just me. I've been loyal to the Roosters my whole career.

"I'm letting my manager sort out a few things overseas just to have a look at what is going on.

"I've always negotiated with the Roosters solely throughout my whole career and, as you get to be a senior player, you like to keep your options open and see what's out there.

"But I've been loyal to the club and the club's been loyal to me throughout the years as well so that won't change."

One thing for sure is Minichiello, who turns 32 in May, feels that after missing the bulk of the 2008 and 2009 seasons with a variety of back and ankle injuries, his body is ready to play rugby league beyond this season.

Minichiello played 20 games last season, which included a return to the State of Origin arena with NSW, following on from 26 games in 2010 - and he shows no signs of slowing down.

"My body feels great. There's no doubt that I'll be playing on. I'll just see where it all pans out," he said.

"I'm not even thinking about it. We haven't even kicked off (yet). I'm thinking about round one and playing a really good season. And that will look after itself down the track."
