Anybody got a picture/video of Manu getting taken out? Can't say I've seen any news or analysis about what happened there. Nobody's been charged or anything... right?

Shoulder charge from Cleary onto Manu.
Doesn't look like the shoulder makes contact with Manu's head but rather it is a head clash.
Either way, it's a clear shoulder charge than should of been penalised

How about Cleary's tackle on JWH the play before? He crocodile rolled him after he'd been tackled and yet no 6 again. Even the commentator highlighted it.
Meanwhile our opponents will regularly get them when we have NFI why; given how innocuous they are.
In contrast the good guy Panthers can roll all over us and we get nothing.
That's the scandalous double standards that kills us.

Trent went overboard with it.
Cleary is the Golden Child.
Remember when he nearly decapitated Trell the week before the SOO a couple years back and Gus was "it's just an accident".
Anyone else would have been a Careless Grade 5 but Cleary is a protected species. That's why he is getting a Clearasil sponsorship paid for by the NRL to clear that acne up. Not a good look for the face of the league to have acne that seems to have popped up this year.

Anyway, it's official. The Roosters are the sin bin champions. The only solution is to field a bench of Oompa-Loompahs who can only be tackled via high shots, however low their heads may be.

So the Roosters have variously been over the years the following:- The most penalised team
- The team to receive the least penalties
- And now, the most sin-binned team
And regarding the sin-binning, it's as though the muppets at nrl central thought to themselves, "we'll show coach Robinson, as the old saying goes, "be careful what you wish for" by sin-binning more Roosters players than any other team and not sin-binning players from other teams when they do the same thing we've sin-binned Roosters players for. That'll show the Roosters who's boss.""The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

Trent is wasting his time asking the NRL to clarify what defending players should do when an attacking player slips in front of them (eg SST).
The NRL will never respond to his request.
That's so they can sin bin our players, yet other teams who do it to us get off without a even a penalty.
Its so they can have complete discretion, and make up the rules on the run, and change them week to week .to whatever suits them
They will f#@k up our chances of winning games, and ensuring the teams that they want to win (like souffs and the Riff) get up and win the premiership.
I am a lunatic for spruking this Anti- Rooster bias.
But for any of you on the Chookpen, who think its all fair in the NRL , and its a level playing field, are even more mental than me.
So many posts, and subsequent analysis, after a game, on where a player makes contact, and what the correct technical outcome is.
Let me tell you that it is all f##king irrelevant.
Think Dylan Brown vs Hutchinson, Kevin Proctor, Cleary vs Manu (Cleary didn't even get reviewed).
Are they fair outcomes?
Yet poor Ben Marschke gets binned for being "cynical" , and suspended for other innocuous crap.
Its nothing to do with the incident, more about the colour of the Jersey.
I am a lunatic, but we are all watching NRL "Fantasyland" , and it amazes me that people just don't realize it
