I still think it’s Liu and although I love him as a rooster I think with him sharing lock with Radley we should let him get a good earn from the sardines he deserves a decent payout to a great career. A great club man and team player.

Can't keep em all, and logical for Fitzy to want Liu, a solid performer, who is probably going to make more money at the Sharks. Toops could go there too, as I think we may have been underpaying him. No facts, just a thought. But I hope they both stay.

Those suggesting Pangai jnr have either short memories or are plain dumb.

The bloke has team cancer written all over him.

If you want a precursor to a Chooks team with the likes of him in it...have a look at the Chooks circa 2007-2009.

            NO.

Luckily king robbo is at the helm keeping knee jerk bogan singings at bay...

We're about to get passed by Manly with its big team, and start sliding down the ladder.

if that happens , its more down to injuries then the size of our team.

also if turbo breaks down manly will be the ones sliding.

turbo looks to be in that special sort of form players hit once in a lifetime ie hayne 09, barba 12, teddy 18/19, joey 01, freddy 02 ...who knows how long itll last ?

Yep, what he said. Dragons have signed Pangai anyway.

Oh, so you want this sociopath recruited immediately?

                        Yes, on a trial basis.
A contract with strict get out clauses for the club in it.
Affordable money, with the chance for him to be a better man and one of the NRL's biggest stars...and we to get a good and big ball playing forward.
Soon find out how serious he is.
He would of course be included in our "How to tackle in the NRL's new world order" classes.

Despite Robbo suggesting that he is not the kind of person that would be a good fit for the Roosters culture? Size is everything, culture a secondary matter?

Can you remember when Willie Mason was with us? A big guy with talent, but he destroyed the joint.

We aren't going to win this year and maybe you're right about the need for more size (though I'm still to be convinced that we are a "small team"). We have shown amazing resilience in the face of an unprecedented injury crisis and seen future stars given invaluable opportunities to develop. Why risk our culture? Why spend big money on this loser and risk losing our rising stars (some of whom are gigantic, by the way)? And why would he "trial" with the Roosters anyway when idiotic, badly managed competitors like the Tigpies and the Dragons are happy to sign him for a fortune?

Rumour has it that he's part of SBW's entourage.
SBW could work his magic with him at our club.
He might sign for less if SBW convinced him to.
                            A happy life is gold.
The Sharks are not the Roosters.
We seem to have '748' young backs but only a few big young forwards.
We need Pangai now...an offloading big prop.
He just needs guiding and better coaching.
                            He's worth signing.
We've been short of a big offloading prop for several years now.
We only beat the Raiders in the GF right at the end.

We have enough props. JWH, SST, Liu, Baker is more than enough for the rest of the year, plus Collins coming back next year.

Collins should take Cordner's place in the 2nd row.
Baker is a rookie. He can come off the bench.
