I'd be interested to know what you based this judgement on. I compared the size of our team with Penrith's and it was about the same. The only time we have a significant weight disadvantage is when we have a player in the sin bin... which is most of the time, it would seem.

Souths now have big rampaging Latrell.

So, in summary, you're suggesting:

Our centres - Manu, JMoz and Suaalii - are too small and should be replaced;
Walker (and presumably Keary) are too small and should be replaced;
Tupouniua, Chrichton, Radley are too small and should be replaced;
Etc etc
But signing a reject from the wooden spooners who is on $800k and has links with the criminal underworld is a great idea and will compensate for these tiny tots we have in our side.

Those muscular and tough three blokes you mentioned along with Aubo who was in the same vein were all great defenders and each possessed incredible determination and will to win which I think we are missing more than actual physical size.
I think with the new rules we are seeing lighter more skilful players coming back into the game which is a good thing .
Cleary kicked us off the park the other night which was more to do with what's between his ears rather than his physicality.
I'll agree we are missing latrell and the damage he could do , how I yearn for those blindside raids with Keary, Cords, latrell and Toops with Teddy chiming in.

Id rather lose the game & walk off with dignity than lie down to get penalties for a victory. In any event playing tough & true will win you more than you lose.

While i agree with Bondi Boy that getting Pangai should be considered, i certainly don't think its because our forwards need size-not by a longshot. I think his offloads would be a massive asset....& with players like Walker,Keary and Radley who love backing up it could add a new dimension to the attack.

I really think the Roosters & Storm are the only club that can get the best out of him. He will be a disaster surrounded by the non-triers at the Tigers.If he is keen to come, the price is right & Robbo thinks he can improve him as a player & person then roll the dice!

This guy is such a hopeless defender , and he goes MIA in so many games , he is hardly worth the risk.
IF the Roosters we to consider him, I'd say sign him for one year, with the minimum wage out of our pocket, and get the Broncos to subsidise the rest.
If that doesn't suit him , tell him go elsewhere.
Then , if he joins us and performs, happy days - if not , just cut him like the Broncos have.
If the team running dead last doesn't want him anymore, he needs a huge turnaround, and he is a big risk.

Yes, thank you for pointing out that obvious comparison between the two players. I wasn't doing a specific "comparative analysis" per se but was just throwing out a very short random comment (opinion) regarding who is available on the market and who I would personally pick out of the two. I'm sure a deep dive can be done at a later date if there is any credence to it.

What does it matter who we buy when every game penalties, 6 agains and sin bins are stacked against us and we are forced to play with 12 men? How can we ever hope to be competitive with the way the refs and bunker are treating us? We may as well not turn up at all as we are getting players suspended for 5 matches at a time and forced to play lengthy periods of the game with no footy and 12 men.

We should start another comp. and make sure no crooks allowed in as administrators or refs. Buying players won’t fix the fact the game is ruined in its present form.
