    Same could be said for BankWest last year and although they stated there was nothing wrong with the ground questions should have been asked why they replaced the turf a short time later.

    It's like a pot holed road with people's car's being damaged as a result of these - they then repair the road and say no one else's car has been damaged - mmm because the road was repaired and also during the day those pot holes would/could be avoided - not the case at night especially when one is not familiar with the road and the pot hole problem.

    The Knights ground was in a poor state for that game with even the Chooks trainers noticing huge clumps of turf being dislodged

    Roosters raised ground concerns before crippling injuries

    The Sydney Roosters complained to NRL officials about the state of the playing surface at McDonalds Jones Stadium last weekend shortly before winger Brett Morris and front-rower Lindsay Collins were carried off with their season-ending ACL injuries.

    News Corp can reveal the Roosters’ medical staff raised concerns about huge divots in the surface during the first half of the game against the Knights and that a complaint was made to the NRL’s ground manager, who included it in his official match report.

    Ground staff replaced the divots during the half-time break but the Roosters raised further concerns during the second-half.

    Even the Roosters’ head trainer had to repair divots during the game during breaks in play.

    “There were big chunks coming up,” coach Trent Robinson said.

    “Our medical guys mentioned it. Our trainer had to replace some of the divots while he was on the field.”

      With the short turn around from SSO and his hip issue I'm wondering if Robbo is planning on resting Teddy from this game

        Yes King I know about all this. Just like you I read everything related to The Roosters. But obviously the ground can’t be too bad because Robinson elected for the club go there again when he had a choice to go elsewhere.

          Teddy was certainly hampered against the Panthers and looked very slow turning. Hope he doesn't end up like Cords where he was busted coming out of origin campaigns.

                there might be a few hot spots in the leichhardt area but the inner west isn't locked down. problem is - storm will be coming from qld and might have to go into quarantine when they return to qld if they played at the scg.

                            Not true.

                            NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant also said provisions would be in place for people to see their intimate partners if they live apart. “We always have some components which are around intimate partner visits, and that will extend in this circumstance,” Dr Chant said.

                                [QUOTE=The Skeez;

                                With the Storm based in Qld and the Qld Premier shitscared her policies won't hold back the germ, its borders shut with Sydney.

                                Disappointed Skeez. Would our current Eastern lockdown be a case of Gladys being a responsible leader or a shit scared panic merchant concerned only with her political fortunes. You see this is where the Right has it both ways and suckers (not necessarily you) who read just the sport section gradually come to the idea that in handling Covid it's Labor States bad, Lib states good.

                                What's happened is that our Glad has run out of dumb luck but we are unlikely to hear any more about that. Instead what we hear is that China has influenced UNESCO's report on the rapidly deteriorating Barrier Reef. Talk about "Hey look over there".
