In all seriousness, when half the resources of your club is dedicated to keeping one player happy then it's not worth any output he gives you. It's like Noyce and having to have a 24/7 guard on Carny. Add to that Dogboy and you wonder why he looked like Beaker with his finger in a light socket.
Mitchell made his choice and became Craig Wing so to hell with him either way.

Nothing else we do against Souths seems to work as we lose to them all too often.Last edited by bondi.boy; 06-28-2021, 07:29 PM.

Souths management are sketchy as, have no class and are obsessed with self preservation. Look at the likes of the Sam Burgess debacle, and how quickly Richardson scooted out of the place (bags full of severance pay) just before that story finally broke.
Aside from Latrell and Flanno junior, i have never heard a bad word spoken about Politis, Robbo, Fitzy, Friend or Cordner. Earning 800k a year to cruise at center in a premiership winning team under that leadership...its a no brainer. I think sadly the wrong people got in Latrells ear around contract time....as a result his attitude stunk towards the end....
...I love the guy as a player. But unless he grows up (which he hasnt so far) I don't think he is a good fit for us anymore.

Just wondering though footy players don't have a lot of items they can claim as a tax deduction nowadays as basically everything is given to them or paid for by the club/sponsors.
Manager fees would be one thing they could claim
Items the club or sponsors may not supply such as head gear ,mouth guards footy boots and sports shoes
Judiciary appearances such as fines and associated legal costs incurred by the player and not paid for by the club
Maybe upgrade of accommodation costs - club pays for a standard room but the player upgrades to a deluxe room at their own costs
Laundry of training gear?
Approved sport supplements not paid for by the club or provided by sponsors
Costs Associated with filing Tax returns which everyone can claimLast edited by King Salvo; 06-29-2021, 11:23 AM.
