All the passion and pride and resilience we’ve played with this year GONE!

It's been gone for a long time.

Senior players have been cutting corners for months, our last serious performance was ironically on this ground when 2 more ACLs occurred. There's just so much junk in this competition that we'll scrape by most weeks, against the top 4 however we haven't been competitive a single time this season.

We've seen the value of Friend and Cordner through their absence this year.

Their leadership and defence has been utterly priceless during our golden era.

We have a soft underbelly without them.

It's clearly evident that we just aren't good enough to test the good sides this year.
the fact is, currently we are a 7 - 12 team on the ladder this year.
They'll give us some exciting wins against teams like the Tigers, bulldogs etc but we can't compete with the better teams.

No excuses tonight, I know we had players missing but so did they. On paper the teams were closer than the scoreline suggests.

Time to just realise that this year is a bridge too far.
