Nah, I think Larry is a dead shit and you’re just a dumb shit
Schoolyard bully ? Gutless ? Oh, so pointing out the obvious fact that he has been playing poorly for quite some time now makes me a bully or am I not entitled to speak as an opinionated fan ? Who made you in-charge of the operating procedures in regards to who I or any other person “pack followers” can have a crack at or not ? … FREEDOM OF SPEECH !
I have always been a firm believer and staunch on the notion that no player is greater than the jersey or the club. Lam has been offered such a great opportunity to line up in the Roosters 17 this season and control or contribute towards the attacking creativity for one of the elite/benchmark teams in the comp and he has shown that he is not cut out to be a first-grade player or a Roosters quality half, he’s a good reserve grade or Super League player at best ! You think I’m the only one that has noticed this point ? … I don’t care, mate, whether you say that I am blaming him or bagging him (meh… semantics) because last year I was very hopeful and excited to see him as Kyle Flanagan’s replacement. Last year, in a few games when Kyle was hooked, he showed a lot of potential, promise and a spark which we all thought was going to be great for us and him as a player this season and beyond… but seriously, where has all that potential gone to ? it’s non-existent now !
The coach and support staff know better and more than you and I combined, but there are other options at bay which we could utilise instead of picking and sticking with a formula which clearly isn’t working. It’s all a bit too much one-dimensional with Sam Walker on the park taking all the game-play pressure.
The Sydney Roosters play for premierships and competition success, it’s a cutthroat business so it won’t matter as sooner or later, the club in the past has shown it will NOT put up with failure for too long and they will make the right call (executive decision) for the team’s cohesion and trajectory. One player doesn’t make or break a team ? Go ask Mitchell Pearce or Kyle Flanagan that, mate.
