No not at all, just questions need to be asked about the roster moving forward if we can’t beat the Bulldogs comfortably, on top of the last 2 results..

Let's take a deep breath and appreciate the fact that poor results are inevitable.

We are in a transition phase. And the rebuild will continue into next year.

And let's celebrate that despite the above, we are still in contention. And we can still (albeit with a fair bit of luck) get into the depths of the finals this year.

I put a fortune on us making the GF because of your "I told ya so" post.
Have you now changed your mind in under a month ffs?

It’s July 1 and Isaac has moved on and perhaps more to come. That wouldn’t be good for overall team morale
        ..it’ll be interesting to see

In Contention for what? It's flaming obvious that we cannot match it with the panthers and storm...and even the eels, souffs and dark horse sea eagles have a far better chance this yr.

We are just making up the numbers this yr....i'll be happy just to win a game in the finals if we make it, which is no given.

I agree with the rest of your post though other than the last line.

Mate, I've said the same thing a few times in the past on a few posts. I paid a lot of attention from round one as he was slotted into #6 (as Kyle Flannagan's first shot replacement) whilst Keary ran the show and then it all went to shit from thereon with the "rotating door setup" we've had on our halves this season and he has not lived up to the expectations and standards of being a first grade halves player. Drew Hutchinson, Adam Keighran, Joseph Manu, obviously Luke Keary when he returns next year are way ahead of him. Hell, I'd even go on and say that "Ronald Volkman" and even "Jesse Marschke" could do a better job at 5/8.

Ha deep breaths won't make any difference- we are not in contention - not close - no chance. That's just the reality of our situation. Doesn't matter if you think it's the refs fault - the NRLs fault - the injuries fault - PVLs fault - the new rules - the greens fault or the Gods - we are not in contention.

Everyone here said our season was cooked when Keary did his ACL.....and you couldn't argue with that. You then lose half a dozen of your best but still think we can win the comp?

Lets face it- the teams above us have a lot better rosters.....and maybe even a couple of teams below us.

Im disappointed in the way we lost tonight but i cant say i was totally shocked.

We live to fight another day

I mean they played really well and put in a top effort but it was mainly the refs fault and the fact that we had to play away from the SCG. Plus the wet weather and the fact that Melbourne cheated.

But our boys put in a good shift and don’t deserve any criticism.

Terrible last night. They all seem to be thinking about next year.....

Walker needs to start his off season now in the gym.
iv seen bigger shoulders on a carpet snake , he's not physically ready for the rigours of the NRL

Agreed... and I think I'd be lying if I said that 1 single player was shyte.

IMO there's not much to take away from that game coz we didn't play footy (and whenever we looked like we might come close, the refs game the Drizz a piggy-back try or searched the fine print of the rule book for a penalty).

I've said it elsewhere but I think we're adjusting our tackling technique and it totally killed us in such a grubby, wet game. The Drizz constantly cheat, over-celebrate everything, do the head rubs when things don't go our way and fukking murdered Walker with a high shot when there were minutes to go (rather than putting the cue in the rack - that was a seriously shyte hit and should lead to a suspension as the whole fukking lesson about the current rules is to calm the fark down and go in low - it was just unnecessary!!!).

There were heaps of dog shots that went unpenalised. I say this because I think that if we did what the Drizz did, we woulda had at least 2 sin-bins. It's as if we have to invest in adapting our game, but they don't.

The one positive is that (like last year), we might not actually wanna make the 4! Last year we did it and all it gave us was a 1st round home game against the Riff. I wouldn't mind the Sharks/Dragons at the SCG followed by Parra...

Fark your a dreamer. The Chooks have as much chance of winning the comp this year as what the Tigers do.

As someone mentioned to me, Walker needs a stint at KFC with BJ Leilua.

We were going ok until Teddy stuffed up.
Obviously Bellyache has been watching his defensive faults and took full advantage.
Kick on the 2nd tackle, Teddy won't be back anywhere, Fox can run through and score a try.
Simple, no degree from Harvard needed for this one either.

Someone has to sit down with the NRL and show them every single tackle because nothing ever gets called.

I’m proud of all our team for even showing up tonight because it was always going to be a fix
We could take out a court order preventing the NRL from holding any more matches until a full investigation has been held into its "possible unfair conducting of matches" or something like that, "where the paying members of clubs are being disadvantaged".
All Commissioners of the ARL Commission, Vlandys, Abdo, all referees and officials made appear before the inquiry.

Why risk permanent injury to his body at this stage, we need him for the future.
