No other coaches have introduced these tactics to deliberately hurt players.
Everything they do is well planned and executed to the minute detail in attack and defence so it's no surprise to see them slamming attackers into the ground with their arms trapped as means to knock them out.
All those tackles you mentioned have been introduced since all teams have had wrestling coaches which has been for about the last 20 years the same amount of time Bellamy has been coaching. The Roosters wrestling coach came from the Melbourne Storm.

I watched last night's game.... and we were terrible.

However, the storm tactics in the play the ball are out of control. Every tackle had someone flopping in on top to slow the play down. It was laughable how late some of the flops were.

We can be leading 30 -0 in games (titans match) and still be losing the penalty and infringement counts.

How on earth JWH is cites over the scuffle is beyond me.

There is a clear bias against the chooks but I love how our club just gets on with business. Bring back some of our players next yr and these young guys get some valuable experience and we will be knocking on the door again

We'll agree to disagree Mickie , I think Robbo coaches closer to our theme of
Easts play hard and fair whereas I think Bellamy's mantra might be to injure more than their share.

IMO the one thing the Drizz (which has no fans or local players) can learn from this is that fans like CHARACTER.

When the Drizz start losing games and paying market rate for development players as a result... what argument will passionate fans have to rest on? People can call our passionate rants about how we're treated insanity but it's what glues our club together and bonds us together as fans.

All of us watched that 46-0 loss and NOBODY is saying 'aaaaw fark this... I give up, we are shyte'. Instead, we're outraged because we expect better form from our boys and better officiating from the refs (who were shyte & inconsistency/bias against us has been their only consistent feature).

Watch the Faders fans who magically all took up memberships after 2019... they're all gone now! Drizz? They win every year and nobody gives a fark. Nobody defends them when they lose. Nobody has an emotional connection with how the refs treat them... partly because they're never ripped off by the refs.

Long story short, it's these days that remind fans of how important 2013, 2018 and 2019 were. The struggle is what keeps fans coming back. It astounds me how stupid the NRL are in planning their Melbourne Project because once the wins dry up, there will just be this worthless, burned out shell of a club with no passionate fans. Those who say we have no fans/culture need to read the passion in these threads!!!

Watching Riff eels game , 23 minutes in and you would not know the ref was on the field . Two teams allowed to play footy and guess what? It's good to watch. Now why the **** can't this happen when we're playing . No bullshit penalties, sin binnings and endless 5th tackle 6 agains to the opposition . It is a very good game in concept . Not a product needing a manufactured result . I wish we were given a fair crack more occasionally by the game managers . Up the chooks!

The part that gets me is that the Storm are so quick off the line but never ever ever get pinged for being inside the 10. How can that be?

I saw plenty of infringements tonight but they just let them go then everyone applauds the ref for "letting the game flow"

Does anyone think we would've been awarded that penalty that parra got at the end off the short kickoff for being run off the ball being 1point down at the end of a game vs one of their top four favourites?

As I enjoy yours Mickie, you don't adhere to the usual every player at the roosters is great and everyone who doesn't play for us is crap and you can see the quality in other teams.

So, the titan's david fifita got sin-binned last night for a tackle that was similar too but not as bad as that thug justin olam's on Sam Walker. Hmmm.

Agree with all but the first of your four sentences rented. It seems I'm largely alone on this which is fine with me.
