The discussion was that Parra are shit and Manly would beat them at full strength.
You overrated Parra to be a contender this year. If Parra lost Gutho they would have as much hope as Manly without Turbo so it is a stupid comparison. But even at full strength Parra have as much hope as the Dragons of winning the comp. SFA.
And of course Manly would be sh!t without Turbo but if he, Jurbo and DCE are there if they play Parra again, Manly will smash them like they did earlier in the year. The Parra team and their coach are the biggest pretenders and have been for 35 years.

Coggy short memories of writing the Roosters off in 2018 when we were so disorganised with a new halfback. Of course Manly will struggle without either organisers DCE or Tommy.
Manly the tallest and fastest backline in the comp. Tommy/Garrick/Saab all faster than any Rooster. Their young forwards Paseka and Olakauatu are mobile monsters. Add Jake, Tapau. They are a force. Their only issue is lack of depth.

Teams like Manly, Penrith and Souths have one or two key players that if injured for the rest of the season would have no hope to win the comp.
Only Storm and Roosters would take 2 or 3 or 5 players out to derail their season.
Parra rely on all the teams above to have all those injuries at once to have a chance. Even then I wouldn't put $1 on them.

I remember being at the Adelaide Oval after we lost the game. When Robbo left the coach's box and walked down towards the tunnel, a group of fans yelled abuse at him suggesting we had no chance to win the comp! It was hilarious. It was probably the same people that used to yell out "go back to Penrith Freddy".

I hope the Chooks watched that game and took note - Raiders have been well below their best and last night put in one of the better performances after many weeks of bad press - Very High completion rate of 43 off 48 as well.
The Dogs will be much the same and will i assume will be primed for a 80 minute performance - Chooks need to be at their best and certainly not take them easy at all - looks like it will be a wet track so again high set completions and good kicking game is required and solid defence.
