How anyone can summise that we'll win the comp is bewildering. Our play overall has been rubbish, to win the comp you need to finish in the top 4, the way we are playing we might just squeeze into the 8. We've already lost 5 games, if we aim for the top 4 we are only allowed to lose 2 or 3 more games.

I thought we'd win in 1980,81, 2003, 04 and 2015. We were the best team in those years but we didn't jag one comp in that lot. To suggest that this rabble will win it is just plain wrong, I have seen nothing that gives me hope, BTW I hope I'm wrong.

It wasn't for the brag. Coggy issued a challenge to find his negative comments. I will add that Roosters were paying $6.50 and 2nd favourites when Coggy was still doom and gloom.

... and yeah many agreed with him as many would agree with him about Manly. That is because they still don't understand what I meant in the first sentence:

Hahaha yeah like I was the only one disapointed in those posts. Your refering to an early period where we were in a win, loss, win, loss cycle. No one is nostradamus and everyone is up in the air. It's good to see that you value my opinions so much. Everytime we lose, this place goes into meltdown. Move on, nothing to see here.

I don't care if you are negative towards the Roosters. It is not about that. You have repeatedly understated the importance of incumbent organisers in teams. Robbo this year has stated that he will build the team around Walker. At some point in future every other player in the team will be reacting to Walker's every move and every word. And naturally if Walker then misses a game the team will probably feel lost for direction.

I recall in 2015 when Pearce pulled his hammy before the finals you were celebrating without understanding the team had been built around him and without him our season was over. Again in 2018 you immediately expected us to be the best team without giving Robbo a chance to adapt the team to a new look spine. And now writing off Manly because they have lost a game without DCE and Tommy.

Well Manly were disappointing...and mostly Turbo. Good plan by Bellamy to have the Cheese be there every time he got the ball until he went of and someone else took over. I think that would be a good role for Radley assuming we win tomorrow. Happy with the result....Assuming we keep going, we wouldn't meet the storm until the GF.

Better team clearly won, but man do the Storm get away with a lot. I guess that's why all the articles come out this time of year about their wrestle - because they do it religiously.
I amount of times they were purposefully giving away a set restart on the first tackle was tough to watch. Really obvious ones like that really need to be penalised.

Storm are a phenomenal team, but Manly made them look better than they are. The Sea-Eagles were woeful tonight.
