Its a game to regain form and build on it ...
I get this feeling this season may end up on hold or end..covid shit.

My only concern for tonight is the wet weather, we always struggle in slippery and wet conditions..

We were woeful against the Panthers and Storm in the wet, so hopefully we turn it around tonight..

Why don't you do what you do best and give us some player ratings after the game.

We need to learn to play in the wet.
Hose all the players at training, wet the ground, wet the ball and put up high bombs.

Absolutely Mate. I was wearing my Roosters shorts the day after that beating and another Roosters supporter outside a cafe commented that I should be embarrassed to be wearing Roosters gear. I told him NEVER!

But yes some recent performances were embarrassing and if you weren't embarrassed by these performances your dedication to the team is questionable.

Yeh yeh you just keep supporting with pride. Big applause to you. Did you feel much pride after these 3 games? I’ll bet you feel pride when you tell yourself the hooker actually likes you too.
But she does like me. She told me so although it might have said something else. I couldn't really tell with her thick Chinese accent.

Chin up doomsdayer. We will win!

                  Go the Roosters!

I have no doubt we will win.

Have you ever proposed to a hooker? Convinced she loved you?

Of our 6 losses this year, all but one (v Parra) had a Roosters player sitting in the bin at some stage. Some of these games we were destined to lose anyway, but 7 crucial tries were scored against us in these losses when we were down a player. We almost lost another game - against the Titans - when we were down a man and they scored 3 tries.

Speaking purely hypothetically and without a conspiracy theorist's tin foil cap in sight, if a match official had some kind of subconscious bias against those show pony Roosters and their smart arse coach who exposes their "incompetence", a stricter interpretation of the sin binning rules might conceivably be applied. At the same time, such a match official might choose to be more lenient when dealing with the indiscretions of opposition players. This year I have seen flying knees that break ribs and late head-high tackles on playmakers ignored while a Roosters player was at one stage sin-binned for "cynicism".

But I digress. As someone here has suggested, all we need to do is avoid touching opposition players above the knees and all will be fine.
In last night's game a Souffs player flattened a Cowboys kicker well after he'd kicked, with direct shoulder contact to the head. The player however got straight up. I was still waiting for the whistle to be blown, but nothing happened. A few players later a Souffs player wore a weak grab around his jaw - and he stayed down wubbing his wittle chin. Then the replays, then the sinbin (and a few Souffs tries in the next 10 mins). After the sinbinning the ref said BTW the Souffs tackler on the kicker was also on report. But no sinbin.

Please explain in less than 500 words.

To say our club is an embarrassment is an over-reaction.

Some embarrassing performances and moments sure, but the club as a whole?

Nah, we’ve got over 110 years of history, this is nothing more than a moment in time. So far off the mark with those comments.

Chechin is biased. It’s that simple. Goes into games with a preconceived view on the teams. He doesn’t want to upset PVLinguist or that old fool Bennett. Souths are expected to win, so he will make sure they win. The NRL has unsurprisingly become as crooked as horse racing. I wonder why.

Yep agree not embarrassing changing of the guard on a monumental scale is all it is .
Some mate was saying yesterday how good Melbourne were compared to us losing a few key players my reply was one they lost Cronk one year then Slater then cam Smith ....they didnt have 10 injured players or 3 or 4 out for the season like we have had the last two years.
It was all sudden this year...stiff shit ..Our coach is good enough to get their groove back .
Shit game these days to watch but it bis what it is .
