The Bondi Wall no longer exists. Our defence is a disgrace. Tonight is just a small step to attempt to get back on track. After losing to Brisbane and being smashed the last two games, our club is an embarrassment. This needs to be fixed!

          Play with pride.

          GO ROOSTERS!
I normally begin to really get excited when I see this thread posted because that means it's game day. In saying that, these comments are off the mark. Our defence is a disgrace? We've definitely not been at the Roosters standard and sure, there have been some games the past few weeks where I've temporarily been embarrassed of the boys, but then I remind myself, lost 3 captains to retirement, arguably our best front rower to an ACL, then had lost Radley for 4-5 weeks and other key forwards being in and out of the side due to injury/suspension. What else can you expect? We've put out makeshift forward packs the past few weeks and the lack of experience combined with some poor refereeing decisions has blown out those score lines. You take key players out of most, if not all the sides in the competition that we have lost, and they're getting belted around every single week. You saw what happened to Penrith in back to back weeks with key players out and they only had half the players out in comparison to what we have lost/had lost. The fact we're still 6th, with the chance to go 5th, makes me extremely proud as a Roosters fan. We might not get the elation of previous years premiership wins, but I can tell you right now, the way we've still managed to compete this year, fills me with immense pride. Add in ''our club is an embarrassment'', such a silly remark. Either you're on the piss early or it's just a bad day for you and consequently a poor opening line for a thread. We get troops back next year, our inexperienced players will now be experienced, and we'll be ready for a genuine attack on ANOTHER premiership. Other clubs could only dream.

Looks like it's going to be horrible conditions tonight which can lead to upsets but I'd be very surprised if we lose to this dogs side who are very ordinary. We play better footy when Victor is in the team and hopefully we get the double up with Ash Barty later in the night.

But yes some recent performances were embarrassing and if you weren't embarrassed by these performances your dedication to the team is questionable.
Yep funny thing is I have been in the building .hardware game almost my entire life , only part time now but my wife will confirm, if I have shoes on they are accompanied by Roosters Socks , to her dismay sometimes

Yes our defence is a disgrace. I stand by that. I’m not going to sugar coat it to make you feel better. What do you call 38 and 46 points scored against us in consecutive weeks? Do you live your life by low standards too or are you just prepared to accept mediocrity when it comes to your footy team?

Yes I am extremely proud of our achievements. And I spend a lot of money and time supporting them. But this can’t disguise that our recent performances where we have showed zero resilience have been nothing short of embarrassing and I have no doubt every player would acknowledge this fact.

I’m not going to make injury excuses cause Robbo certainly doesn’t. We have played some great games with many troops missing. But what was dished up against Melbourne and Penrith and Brisbane was not acceptable. If I’ve offended you then boo hoo. Go and take some cement pills.

                      UP THE MIGHTY ROOSTERS!

Why don’t you apply to the club to be their hose boy? You can spray the ground before they hit the training paddock and you could hose them as they start each session. Maybe you could secretly dip the balls in dishwashing liquid too. That would definitely help their handling.

My big hope is that we work on fixing up our errors and playing with some more discipline. Our losses aren't what gets to me, it's when we play badly that I get annoyed. Losing to Penrith and the Storm is fine, they're both incredible teams and in amazing form. Putting up a poor perfomance is what gets to me. I understand we're very short handed these days, and missing a good amount of our experience and leadership, but I do hope that we can turn it around and start playing some good football. At the very least I've enjoyed seeing a bunch of our young guys coming in and getting some experience. The future looks bright even if the last six weeks have looked a little dire.

Waiting for the lockdown to finish. Poor girls cant get to work atm. Bit hard to get a gobbie through a mask anyway.

On a side note, covid is the least of anyones concerns when playing russian roulette with some of these non essential workers!
