Injuries to the Lisfranc joint can cause severe damage to the cartilage in the midfoot if left untreated. This damage prevents the joint from working properly. Without the cartilage, and with the added stress of poorly healed injuries, the foot will continue to sustain further damage with each step.
My wife tore the ligament which required surgery and pinning not a hope in hell that he could have played with that injury.

For sure. Give the young guys as much experience as possible. Play Baker over SST who is leaving.

I am sure Trent probably agreed with you and plenty on here agreed with you (including me). It wasn't until we had all our injuries that next man up was Suaalli. The cupboard was empty and there was no other choice. He was the last man standing.

He's had a taste of the top grade and he'll be salivating for his next chance. Now he has more time to focus on his academic future, and strength and conditioning for next season.

                I wouldn’t have a clue where he’s going.

That’s a shame. At least now he can finish school without footy distractions. He’ll come back stronger next year. A plus from all of this means Smith might get more time which is good. I like what I’ve seen from Smith so far.
