  • SST out for 2-4 weeks with minor hamstring strain

Disappointing but not unexpected as he was sighted with ice on the left hamstring post game against the Dogs he also didn't return for a second stint.

Been well below his best all year, hopefully gives him time to nurse some other injuries he may have been carrying as well.

A fit and in form JWH, SST & Radley is as good as any clubs starting middles.

I just noticed JWH is three years older than SST, and if you look at the level Jared is playing at this year surely the best of SST is yet to come..

I’ve heard a few supporters on here with the opinion SST is on his way out of the Club, but surely the next three years he would be hitting his prime and I’d be surprised if the Club let him go!

In regards to his injury, maybe it’s a good time for a rest..

I was surprised to see him being written off. He has been so good for his entire Roosters career. I can't see why he won't be able to get his form back when fully fit.

Has already dealt with calf/rib issues this year.

He certainly looks busted this year and looks like he could do with a few weeks off

completely agree but I wish he'd play every week like he seems to when he has a Tongan jersey on

the guy's probably been playing busted and the rest might have him firing on all cylinders again

The injury toll this season really is all time. Unbelievable.

Making the finals is a major success as far as I am concerned.

Apart from Melbourne. any other team with this toll would be looking at the spoon.

We're the most resilient team in the competition right now.

He can use the time off to shop himself around to a new club.

SST has been a shadow of his former self this season. Last year he carried our pack and in my opinion was only second to Papaleehee out of all props in the comp.

So do you think he has lost the talent or the desire?

Because the form he showed last year was at a different level, and I believe can be regained under Robbo in a team travelling well with less injury disruptions, which hopefully we get next year.
