It's so easy for Sutton, Klein and their proteges to screw us royally, as they have the approval to do so from all of the media and all other teams' fans.

Just driving through the rain and heard this quote by Andrew Moore on ABC Grandstand - "all roosters fans whinging about refereeing, I have 2 words for you - SIX AGAIN" (bringing up again the GF where the correct ruling was made, and Canberra couldn't score against a 12 man roosters after Cronk unfairly sin-binned (admitted by refs boss), and roosters scored a memorable match winning try from their own 20.

That fat little turd Moore is no different from the rest of the media, except he works for the ALP publicity machine and is paid for by my taxes.

Really, Moore said that? I've always had him as one of the better respected one's...Not sure who's version I believe now in his battles with Hadley. after that stupid call. FMD 6 again was proven to be a wrong call.

I don't dislike Danish at all as I've met both he and his wife Hollus a few times as we have mutual friends. In fact as soon as Hollus had posted on here that both of them and their baby son were back safely from their time in the US, I was one of the first to say I was relieved to read that on here.

I'm just mindful and sensitive to others as that is who I am even thought I get abused for it on a weekly basis on here and I don't really care. I even had 4 work colleagues I've never met in person call me yesterday to thank me for being kind and patient. It must have been the day for it..Friday work stress, the start of a new financial year, deadlines etc..

So I have people punching me on one hand and hugging me on the other..oh well..

Caring for others has nothing to do with being woke or PC. Both of those terms are highly overused on here and quite often out of context. Oh and virtue signalling..seriously..

When I read Jack's post, I thought of Mighty Rooster straight away as I know she has shared her own pain with us before. Its actually a privilege when someone opens up with their own struggles and it helps others to realise they are not alone.

Thanks RWB. It wasn’t really that it upset me due to my personal experience. It’s more that it’s so easy to say something rash like that without really thinking what it actually means, I mean you hear all the stories, but it’s not until you live through it or have to personally nurse someone through palliative care and witness their pain and body withering away to nothing, that it actually hits home. It truly is an insidious disease that isn’t kind to anyone. I would not wish it on anyone. Not even my most disliked obnoxious biased ref like you know who.

So you can tell from a still photo the following for an example

When the Ref called Go to the defenders
Whether it was a sloppy play the ball and or the Dummy Half took some time to pick the ball up.
Was the Penrith defender in Yeo jogging or sprinting up in defence - Penrith do have the fastest defensive line speed one has to say of all 16 teams

Of course you can't so people are posting assumptions without knowing all the facts.

Also as I said on another post the Ref is policing the ruck and naturally is not able to rule on players being on or off side across both sides of the field - only players within very close proximity to where he is positioned.

The Refs are tipped of by others i.e touchies and the bunker on such matter as offside - same for the set restarts.

The 2nd ref was much maligned - have to look at some old games to see if the 10 metres was better policed or not - maybe not?

On the Angus sinbin - that was egregious by Sutton and Klein to give 4 tackles and then go back and penalise and sin bin - good on Robbo for commenting on this cheating.

Anyone remember Luai doing far worse against Parra in finals game last year and no intervention by the bunker? Almost a penalty try awardable but no penalty or sin bin.

When you get Sutton on the field with Klein in the bunker you know you're gonna be rogered with a broomstick.

Fark me didn't they panic when we hit the lead with 15 to go.

Ooh..I just ate half a 'smallish' pack of the new Kettle chunky BBQ chips. Got them delivered today from Coles as they were on special. Have a tomato and herb flavour for the 'bye' next week..

I don't think any referee, at this level in Australian sport, is a "cheat."

There is definitely some unconscious bias in play however, the results were some mind boggling decisions that went in the Riff's favour.

The penalty against Verrills and the 3 tackle advantage before sin binning were both laughable.

The screenshots above perfectly demonstrate the unconscious bias involved in the way he controlled the 10m, I said to a mate last night that there's absolutely no way a Riff opposition receives the offside penalties if the roles were reversed.

• Their play the ball is 12m from our line, he is standing on our line. Every single player is back the required 10, but not the 12m he has marked out.
• Both our play the balls are inside their 10 and he is standing short of the line on both of them. There are Riff players in front of him, and they would have had to have gone early or never hit the line to take up the positions they were in (looks like Yeo next to Sutton who just can't be onside to be that far advanced without going early or not hitting the line)

nailed it. these days there's too much scrutiny for refs to cheat but they need to be aware that they're human beings and capable of unconscious bias. cops have programs dealing with it - refs should too.

Of course you can't tell that, but Robbo mentioned in the press conference how the ref was constantly calling Yeo and Cleary out for being offside, yet there was no consequences for their indiscretions. The thing that annoys me is the calls we don't get. A lot of the penalties we concede are justified (not the Verrills one though) yet the opposition seem to be given a lot more leniency. It's so frustrating

Here is the offside penalty that Gerard Sutton gave when Penrith knocked on the ball on 4th tackle 2metres out and both Teddy & Manu blew up…. You can see why.

Comparitivley speaking in our set 6 minutes before full time on the Panthers line where both play the balls were within the 10 so every defender should have had at least one foot on the line:
