If panthers had scored during the advantage that was given, then Angus wouldn’t have been sent off, I think up to a few tackles is ok for an advantage, or what is the point of playing advantage for only one tackle? Because that only advantages the infringing team anyway.

The magnificent irony of that call was that Cummins was trying his level best to screw us - as he had done for years even going back to Anasta's "you're off your head" call - but he got confused. Exactly. Also, if you listen to the intent of what Anussilly says, he is talking about how the refs manage the game to get the best spectacle. Am I the only one that is seriously concerned about this? Is there another serious sport that interprets the rules to create a "greater" spectacle (no WWE doesn't count) ? It is not their job to manage the game but to simply enforce the rules. This style of officialdom is wrong and leaves itself open to inconsistency and individual interpretation.. Just ref the freakin' games straight down the line and the coaches will have to react to that rather than exploiting interpretation and management styles.
