I did not see the Crighton sin binning that way at all. I thought Angus was trying to tackle the guy running with the ball and the other Penrith was impeding him... In other words we should have got the penalty because the Penrith ball runner was shepparded.

"There is no rule stating how far back you can go to an incident - the application of the advantage is totally up to the ref's discretion. But obviously going back 3 sets is too long..." (but by inference, and particularly if it's Sutton versus us, he can go back 3 sets, or into the previous half if he wants to.
Farking horseshit.
Nice that this has never happened before, but we find out this is part of the refs' "discretion" when it screws us.

He didn't help us at all, but he will be forever associated in the eyes of idiots on social media as giving us a premiership. It must be a special kind of hell for him.

No mention from Annesley about repeat sets, the disrespect to captain when asking the reason behind his decisions. The continued one sided counts.
I’d bet robbo said he does not want that joker again this season. Let’s see if nrl listensWritten and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

Am I the only one that is seriously concerned about this? Is there another serious sport that interprets the rules to create a "greater" spectacle (no WWE doesn't count) ? It is not their job to manage the game but to simply enforce the rules. This style of officialdom is wrong and leaves itself open to inconsistency and individual interpretation.. Just ref the freakin' games straight down the line and the coaches will have to react to that rather than exploiting interpretation and management styles.
