Looking the other way and letting it happen would also be a criminal offence?
Fixing matches in the NRL where millions of dollars are being bet, would be "fraud" and "corruption"? ...punishable by prison sentences.
If so, someone should be explaining it to all the ARL Commissioners, V'landys, Abdo, all the referees.

As for attending games, the last one I went to was with Jack on 11 August 2014 on a Monday night against the Gold Coast in the rain (speaking of rain, bucketing down here as I type this). I had really bad respiratory issues for the following years that kept me home and I never bothered going back as I couldn't cope with the noise, lights and crowds on the 380 bus.
I kept up my small business sponsorship for 4 years during the GFC and wooden spoon year as well. I'm happy to be what I call a couch potato supporter now but do still have a membership and always will. I still wear my Roosters gear straight after work and on weekends and give away surplus to the children of friends & colleagues (I'm the lone Rooster in the family so they don't want any).
That reminds, me I have a signed jersey to send to Eddie for his birthday next month..
We all do our bit to love and support and continue to follow our Roosters despite the referring..I don't let it get to me anymore..getting too old for this.
I'm sure there are many fans of the remaining clubs who think we've won 3 premierships in the last decade because of the refs, not in spite of them.
I remember a woman (Parra fan) running onto the field in 1980 to abuse Greg Hartley..she was interviewed last year by News Limited and still would do the same to him she said. I can't post the story as it's hidden behind a paywall. One of my old work mates said oh that's my mates mum...

Here is the offside penalty that Gerard Sutton gave when Penrith knocked on the ball on 4th tackle 2metres out and both Teddy & Manu blew up…. You can see why.
Play the ball is 12m out, all players after 1-2m off the goal line:
Comparitivley speaking in our set 6 minutes before full time on the Panthers line where both play the balls were within the 10 so every defender should have had at least one foot on the line:

This is brilliant , send to all media outlets and the NRL to clearly show the corruption.

Penrith have been doing this for the past few seasons and they do push the envelope in their defence line speed and in tackles - seeem to get a bit more time before they have to get off the tackled player and allow the play the ball.
I remember the Roosters doing something similar towards the end of 2002 - the defence line would move as soon as the ball carrier placed the ball on the ground to play it. - I think they changed the rules in the play the ball as a result as obviously the defence gets an advantage of .point whatever seconds than they normally would be allowed.
The Ref determines when the defense can move as per below
10 METRES
All defending players except those who have taken up a position as Marker[s] must ‘retire 10 metres from the point at which the ball is played or to their own goal line’. Section 11 (10) (g)
All defending players are required to be ‘in line’ with the Referee marking the 10 metres.
The Referee will call “go” when the ball has been played backwards and then the defensive line is entitled to move forward. If the defensive line is within 10 metres of their own goal line, the players:
1. Must be touching the goal line with a foot; and
2. The defenders cannot place their front foot past the centre of the ruck.
2nd and 3rd Stills
The 2nd and 3rd still worry me though as far as the Roosters attack goes which is very common in games when down the oppositions end - that is a big gap between the play the ball and the first receiver - 15 metres plus and quick moving defensive sides such as Penrith /Storm etc would love that - be in the Roosters attacking players faces

Remember in 2014 when a Burgess bro dropped the ball you would pause for a few seconds before celebrating because you knew a bogus stripping penalty would be incoming?
Similarly, whenever the opposition now drop the ball on the attack against us I don't celebrate right away because I know there's a 50/50 chance that a bogus offside/ruck infringement penalty will be incoming. See above pics from R6 as evidence.
I know you all feel the same way. It's not imagined as this legit happens all the farking time against us.

As far as the 10 metres go
The ball has been played in both stills - we don;t know if the ref called go so not sure then if Penrith were offside - they do sprint off their line in defence which also may give an impression of being offside - i.e how could they get their so quick in defence

I don't think any referee, at this level in Australian sport, is a "cheat."
There is definitely some unconscious bias in play however, the results were some mind boggling decisions that went in the Riff's favour.
The penalty against Verrills and the 3 tackle advantage before sin binning were both laughable.
The screenshots above perfectly demonstrate the unconscious bias involved in the way he controlled the 10m, I said to a mate last night that there's absolutely no way a Riff opposition receives the offside penalties if the roles were reversed.- Their play the ball is 12m from our line, he is standing on our line. Every single player is back the required 10, but not the 12m he has marked out.
- Both our play the balls are inside their 10 and he is standing short of the line on both of them. There are Riff players in front of him, and they would have had to have gone early or never hit the line to take up the positions they were in (looks like Yeo next to Sutton who just can't be onside to be that far advanced without going early or not hitting the line)
