  • Back options vs Parra

Stats say that 70% of so of tries are cored by the left side attack vs right side defence - not sure if this has changed with some teams playing a less structured game - playing both sides and what's in front of them instead.

The way i look at it the following are the range of options available.
    • J Morris back in and plays either Left or Right Centre depending on who the other Centre is.
    • Manu to Wing with an involvement role not just staying on the Wing waiting for the ball if not at Right Centre
    • Keighran in to play either Right or Left Centre.
    • Crichton to play Left Centre with J Morris at Right Centre
    • Sitili to play Right Centre.with J Morris at Left Centre.
    • Lam to Play Right or Left Centre.
    • Moala Graham-Taufa to come in and play Right Wing. leaving Manu at Right Centre.

I think there should be a poll.

Is Moala Graham-Taufa in the bubble?

Doubt Angus or Sitili will start in the centres so I'd rule those options out.

I doubt it. Regardless, it would be very unlike Robbo to throw him in. By all accounts this kid is something special, but Robbo introduces such players very slowly - they get to warm up with the squad for a few games, maybe get named 18th man etc.

Keighran to centre with Morris to wing for mine. Not sure how deep we can go from here this year but at some point the absence of a reliable goal kicker will cost us. Hoping Keighran's defence will improve playing in a more familiar position.

Prefer Morris on the wing defensively and would like to think he could do a similar job to Toops bringing it back and making those hard yards early in the set when were under pressure.

Very true. It would be a big surprise if Robbo did decide to throw him in the deep end, especially against Parra who are a top 4 side.

A no brainer. Adam K center. Morris to the wing.

You lot are off your head if you think Keighran is up to defending ti Trents standards at centre.

I’d be slotting Morris and Manu at centre.

If Moala is able to play whether it be bubble or because he’s only a development player, if play him or Keighran on the wing.

Trent prefers to keep his defensive line as intact as possible and only replacing the gaps.
                  ..it’ll be interesting to see

Fair enough Skeez but I'm not sure Morris has been defending to Trent's standards either. No doubt a big part of the reason he was dropped.

Anyway, really looking forward to the game regardless of the selections. Parra cant win the comp but they're still a class above what we have faced lately.

we need thye win or manly will jump us. also i dont know the stat but we never win the commemorative games. jwh plays 250 this week and Angus would have played more games with us than the vermin. I cant remember when we have won a game when one of our guys celerbrates his 50th, 100th , 150th or 200th games. we always seem to lose. Like fitzys history

Im pretty sure i heard Robbo say Jmoz will go straight back into the centres.

Don't know who this Moala is but i love a debutant. Robbo debuted Jackson Hastings off the bench in a semi final so he isn't worried about how big the game is.

If Billy Smith does have a lisfranc fracture in his foot then that's the season gone for him

It was reported that he was and that apart of Keighran MGT was the only other back in the bubble - can't find the list of players teams took up with them to QLD - Chooks have 23 contracted players plus Abbey and i assume MGT so 5 more - less 2 now with Ikuvalu and Smith injured
