The Fish would be a cracking signing, he's stuck behind absolute quality in Locke, Billy Tupou and Manu.
The fact that hes 'stuck' behind Billy Tupou and Manu who only played half the season last year speaks that he may not be all hes cracked up to be?

Please elaborate. Lachlan Coote has just beaten out the form fullback in the NRL until he got injured last year.

Well Coote has a injury that going to be there for rest of his career i do like Coote as a player I think we need more pace in the backline which is what Glen offers.

He didn't beat him because he's considered a better player but because playing Coote at fullback and Gordon on the wing is better than playing Gordon at fullback and not having Coote at all. This is just common sense.

Gordon was a victim of his own versatility, not his skill.

I have been watching fox sports all day until 2:30pm. Have not seen that written anywhere.

            That, and age.
They wouldn't want to lose the younger player who potentially could be the long term replacement for Gordon.

Every new player we sign seems to come with the tag "when fit".

So you take the risk of unnerving a potential Origin player and club stalwart for Coote? Also, my question of what makes you think the Fish is better than Coote was not answered.

If it is true then it will be the first recruitment push I agree with from the club in a while.

Fish would be fast and cheap like my second girlfriend.

This I'd be very happy with, if it happened.
The kid played a few games on the wing and wasn't anything special, but he moved to Fullback and absolutely killed it and scored 2 tries, unfortunately for him he got injured and Locke stepped up and he wasn't seen again.
They have that Slaimankhel fella as well, no way Locke, Fisiiahi and Slaimankhel will all stay for long - I'm hoping we pick up one of them.

Considering Gordon is on the record as saying the article was bullshit and doesn't care where he plays then yes I'd take that 'risk'.

Also I never said the Fish is better than Coote so your question will remain unanswered.

Are we cornering the market in young, up and coming kiwi fullbacks...

                            Wells
                            RTS
                            Fishiani

All to sit on the bench and watch Mini play...??

                              Seems to be.
Mini might retire at the end of the season and take up a lucrative job in the corporate world of Roosters Inc.

The season is long, injuries happen every game.
