I prefer him to Locke. Far more robust, better pace (of the quickest guys in the game, this guy is amongst the very top tier) and in my mind almost as good as Locke with just as much potential. I would never say no to him.

His game against Cronulla early last year was amazing. If you want to see how good he is download that game on bigpond video. I would certainly welcome the signing if it were to eventuate. As good as Locke in my opinion and would be a fair bit cheaper too. If we could get him for this year and move Minichiello to the wing, or preferably a coaching position, we might actually have a fair shot at it this year.

I find it really frustrating at the complete waste of seeing Fishiani not playing first grade, when he could be put to such great use as our starting fullback!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

            Here's looking at you, kid.

What bullshit. Every kid (especially fullbacks) who come into the game will at first struggle with the high ball, it's just confidence. I was at a semi final in 03 and a young kid called Slater had an absolute shocker, the Bulldogs absolutely belted him. Even Lockyer had a shocker in a test in NZ. Mini as well was crap under the high ball.

Maybe uncle Nick can have a word with the young fella and tempt him over, surely he wants to be playing first grade.

                    This kid can play.

Was a gun in their U20s team that rolled Souffs. Had a few injuries last year.

I agree. He's quick, would come pretty cheap and could well solve a lot of our issues in regards to pace and a good fullback. Can't think of a better option myself.

The fish is a massive talent.. Exactly what this team needs with speed to burn and footwork.. If i was in recruitment I would be targeting him even ahead of Locke.

good player but imo we are better off having a crack at their current 20s fullback. he is the pick of all 3

Glen Fisiiahi pressed his claims for a recall to the Warriors' starting side with an incredible six-try performance in the NSW Cup.

The fullback played four games for the Warriors last year but was forced out of the side due to injury and the form of Kevin Locke.

Fisiiahi indicated he was ready to come back into first grade with six tries as his Auckland Vulcans side beat Western Suburbs 42-20 at Campbelltown Stadium in Sydney on Saturday.

His performance was made even more incredible by comments of Vulcans staff, who said he could have had three more tries but was called back after the referee spotted infringements.

Fisiiahi is contracted with the Warriors until the end of 2015.
If RTS & Alofa don't put their hand up with some good form and of course Wells wont get the chance to we could do a lot worse.

There's some incredible talent coming out of NZ at the moment, the development program that was implemented 5 years ago certainly seems to be doing the trick. I don't reckon a 2nd NZ team is far off.

I though RTS had a very solid game in the 20's last week at fullback. Scored a very neat try with very good footwork and seemed safe enough at the back. Solid looking kid, I would like to see him in some space to see how quick he is.

Another 3 tries for The Fish on the weekend, he should not be in NSW Cup and would walk into fullback at near on 10 clubs in the NRL - get him in before the deadline and move Mini to the wing, ffs Nick/POS/Bwian just get it done, surely his manager, Warriors and Easts can come to an agreement.
