Cleary said yesterday he’s a few weeks away from returning. True or false? I say True. Without Cleary Penrith are not a champion team. Luai is lost. I think that our current squad are a match to Penriths without Cleary. With Cleary in, we’ll we need to test that shoulder. One bad hit and his out for the season.
on another note, we are in a battle for 4th with Parra but for this week I hope Parra can put a score on souffs… they are getting too far away to be caught and a loss on Friday and few down the road, might allow us to get closer by the last round. They played the Saints reserve and still were average.

Every time the Chooks get to fielding the best team available they lose someone.
JWH is to bigger out for me to think that the Chooks can get over Penrith. It kills me no, Keary, Friend, Cords, BMoz, Collins, JMoz, Suaalii, Smith & Ikuvalu then the main beast is suspended. Its just to many out to beat Penrith even without Cleary. Im sure Api & Yeo will be back plus TPJ is in for JFH so they only have 3 out Crighton suspended Cleary To'o but it wouldnt surprise me if Cleary plays.

Penriff have shown that they are susceptible if they lose a couple of key players (Cleary, Luai) then they come right back to the field.
Same goes for Drizzle - if they lose key players like Hughes and Paps (who are both main link men in their backline) they will become a shambles.
Both these sides are too good for us at full strength , but a couple of injuries , and the whole ball game changes.
You can see the enthusiasm of the Roosters youth , and the remaining experienced players (after the 11 sidelined) are playing at their peak.
Their is a real belief in this Roosters side - their recent performances on the field show it.
I thought they were shot for this season after the first Knights encounter, but obviously Robbo and the team don't think so.
I would say that they are hanging in there, seeing what cards are dealt out before the end of the season.
If things fall in place for the Roosters, you just never know.
Never write off youthful enthusiasm.
