I doubt many -if any- think the Roosters can win it this year.....and the signing of Copley is just confirmation of that. However since we were signing old boys whose present clubs are ok to release them......could you imagine the shit hitting the fan if we signed R T S for the remainder of the season?? Teddy,Manu,RTS would have given us a big shot at it!

You could have said that about the whole squad in 2016!

Beggars can't be choosers and at the moment when it comes to outside backs we're definitely beggars!

My recollection of 2016 is Copley was the worst defending centre in the NRL. Bennett could not get rid of him quick enough and it took Robbo a few games to come to the same conclusion.

I understand we are desperate but if he plays in the centres we aren't going to win many game anyway.

I remember a game he played for us but can’t remember the opposition. He got absolutely towelled up in defence. There was one try where it was so unbelievably obvious he just let the opposition centre run straight past him within a metre and he did not even attempt to tackle him. He completely lost me at that point. To quote 13, he did not even care!

                Get excited as Robbo is

“Dale is a player we know well, so it was a really simple decision to welcome him back to the Roosters and we’re excited to have him here,” said Roosters Head Coach Trent Robinson.

Well I for one am now relieved. Courageous Copley will be the redemption story for the ages, I expect we will look back at this as a defining moment in our clubs rich history.

We will remember where we were when the news came down that this man, nay this immortal blessed our team with his return. May he don the RWB proudly, and may the Panfers suffer in the jocks for the prodigal son has returned and you’re in Copley’s house now!

I don't think he was that bad in the one year he played - 14 games and 5 tries - he missed 10 weeks with a pec injury I recall - I think it would have been down to whether he would obtain a permanent spot in the team going forward as the Chooks did sign Gordon for 2017 to play Fullback and also had a couple of handy young centres on rise in Latrell Mitchell and Joseph Manu that he would have to contend with for a starting spot

May have been a case of stay at the Chooks but no guarantee starting spot or sign with the Titans with a guaranteed starting spot so he chose the latter.

I can't believe that Robbo would sign him just for the sake of signing someone if he didn't think he could fit in and contribute as an individual and be a team player though.

I don't care what any of you think of Copley. I just want to hear Large Mike's verdict.

Always liked him as a player, and I'm glad he's back. He'll make a few of the usual naysayers eat their words.

Dale Copley and Paul Momirovski are very similar players.

We won a prelim with Momo, Copley will do a job.

It’s only for the remainder of the year and when we get back Morris/suaalli/smith he will disappear like he was never here
                            EASTS TO WIN!

Although no ideal, will support any players that wear our proud jersey. We are getting desperate regarding fit/available players at present. Go Easts.

ok ill tot on this one, but the guy is a dud.

btw , how the fark did we just beat the dogs ? the titans are smacking em up , like ali vs williams
At full strength almost. Chooks would have had at least 6 out against the Dogs.
