So how does this McGrath (NRL prosecutor) chap go about his job?

Is he given a detailed brief by the MRC that explains why the player received the charge?

Or does he make up his own arguments that support a guilty verdict, whether or not he believes it's true? After all, he's the "prosecutor" - I suppose it's his job to seek a conviction, regardless of the truth (just like real lawyers in real court cases).

Should never have been charged. Fukking morons running the refs. The reffing this year is the worst I have ever seen in 60 years watching the game. The influence they now have on the result of games is just wrong. The new rules are seriously fukking a great game.
