We had such a huge opportunity blown tonight… we had it for the taking but with some stupid plays from senior players we let it slip. Happy with the effort and some huge plays from the youngsters but geez that would of been a huge coup.

Too many dumb plays. Happy with Manu, Liu and Egan Butch, all did well considering the circumstances.

Very erratic game, first 20 and last 20 flowed quite well and I thought they were our best periods. Game was very stop start either side of half time which we just don’t seem to be able to handle, we need an up tempo ball in play type of game to really shine.

3 tries a piece at the end of the day. Can’t be mad given the season we’ve had but I agree it stings because I think we were so close to a win tonight.

It actually doesn’t. I want to come fifth not fourth. Losing that one pretty much gets us there.

in the scheme of things not a disaster. i'd prefer 4th but more than happy with 5th or 6th. one week at a time.
