Who gives a shit what the NRL does or says regarding this? It'll be some handwaving bullshit and the same thing will happen again.

Keary always seems too emotional.
Verrils might have it in him...

If it’s unconscious bias at play it’s a bit hard to do much about it. Annesly can’t really tell his guys to go out and stop being unconsciously biased.
Best to just try to ignore it and enjoy the footy if you ask me. It’s unlikely to change. At least we usually seem to get a fair shake in the finals.

My prediction for the Broncos game is that Ashley Klown (who hates us) with give a leg up to the Broncos at every opportunity.
The Bias will continue at full force.
The only way we will beat the Broncos is if we are smacking their ass completely on the footy field.
Reasons for this:
Roosters fans are a minority - who cares about them anyway?
They come from an affluent geographical area, and have recently won 2 premierships.
Rugby League is a working class game- better if Penrith, Parra, Souths or Newcastle win - because they represent the battlers
Our coach is too intelligent for his own good - opposition fans perceive him as too smart, too smug - for him to say the right thing all the time , shows his superior intellect.
If you are a battler fan , (or even an NRL administrator) you cannot "trust" someone smarter than you - the logic might just show you up.
You can identify with someone that mumbles ( Souths Coach) or kicks chairs (Storm coach), but how do you counter someone who is smarter than you?
Better to give feeble excuses every week , for all the Bias.
Just like Annersley did, and pretend (the bias) isn't there, and doesn't happen
Its a case of the tall poppy syndrome - and by far - we are the tallest poppies.

All I did was listed, adapt and groom the new refs to 'like' me rather than giving them lip. If anything, they're now a little too generous towards me because they know I listen, don't complain and am trying my best to play within the rules.

I'm not sure, but we might need to go back to Dally Messenger's time to find a period where we got a fair go from the refs.
