if the mead infringement wasn't a sin binning then it shouldn't have been a penalty. i don't see how there can be a category of infringement in that position which is a penalty but not a sin binning

Vlandys is the boss, the big boss. head honcho of the NRL.
He is the "King"...the buck stops with him.
Online just now...

One paragraph was of particular interest:
To pay his way through accountancy at Wollongong University, V'landys became the manager of Unanderra hotel at the tender age of 18. Originally employed as a glass collector and cellarman, owner, Duke Taylor employed him to manage the hotel.
"I thought, this is a bit of a hard job for me at 18", says V'landys. "And all the staff agreed. They went on strike." But V'landys stayed, and Taylor, he says, taught him the motto, "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, you baffle them with bullshit".
"And that's really been a good piece of advice", he says. "It's helped me a lot".Last edited by bondi.boy; 08-14-2021, 10:56 AM.

Players and coaches are boiling and starting to speak out against the clear corruption and bias in the NRL and it won’t be long, if they keep up their double standards that there could be a players rebellion. The NRL are ruining the game fast with their over the top, inconsistent suspensions, sin bins, favouritism snd 6 agains. If you’re a rooster you can be sin binned for bad breath. It’s a circus and farce and we should all continue to speak out against these injustices.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

Obviously the Roosters have had enough of the BS being dished out by the NRL and its officials.

Dragons coach mentioned "dodgy decisions" after their game this round.
*
Cleary's shoulder charge...lol
All fine by the NRL officials.
A perfect example of what's going on.

Of course there won't be any complaints from the teacher's pet teams, as they are the beneficiaries.

Or do the guys at the top at the NRL want the teachers pet teams to win it because they have bet all their money on them?
What is the gain from those behind this so called corruption against the Roosters & not the pet teams?

If you watched NRL360 early this week you would have seen Paul Kent tell a story about a discussion he had with Bill Harrigan and Harrigan said to him that the refs should have a cheat sheet on players who have a problem with onfield discipline, in which Paul Kent responded to him by saying that that was wrong because it could be implied that it would create unconscious bias against a player. Now if the referee with the highest profile in the game ever can come up with such an idea, who's to say that there isn't some form of cheat sheet, notes or even chatter amongst the referees?
"What we can reveal is that every week in preparing for games, the refs have as part of their preparation a session they call “around the grounds’’.
They sit around a room and discuss the different habits and idiosyncrasies of players.
While it is fantastic they are doing their homework, it could also lead to suggestions they are going into games each week with preconceived ideas.
For example, if say five Roosters players have been spoken about during “around the grounds’’ and only two Storm players, does that mean the Roosters will be watched more closely than the Storm?"

Conveniently, the article is also about unfair penalty counts against the Roosters and serves to highlight why this perpetual bias against us exists. The referees already know what they're going to call before we even take the field
