Hutchinson Vs Gamble tonight is a sad representation of the quality of halves currently running around the NRL.

I like the honesty of each player but they're clearly just not at level, both performing bit part roles for their teams at the moment.

Disagree with that 100% - Hutch and Gamble are fair players and are NRL standard -I think people need to stop comparing them to others i.e Keary vs Hutch - Hutch wont play like Keary and Keary wont play like Hutch they possess different skill sets - You want Hutch playing as Hutch not trying to be someone else.

Big agree on this. Hutch is doing fantastically, and is a very useful cool-head at the moment.
He is doing a lot better than a great deal of the "NRL Standard" halves running around, to be honest.

This game was tight for 80 min and Hutch was unsighted, not ideally what you want from your 6. Clearly a good guy who does his best but has a very limited skill set.

I think the quality of the comp this year is atrocious ..not ideal timing with another team about to be announced, there simply isnt enough talent

I get it, I agree with you mate (there was a lot of frustration in in some of my comments tonight) but that was a one point win vs the Broncos, if that was a top 4 opponent we lose by plenty, our top 4 position has to be justified we need some professional, composed and more disciplined performances, we haven’t had Collins, Keary, Bmoz Jake or Cords the entire year, I’m not doubting the effort, but effort alone is not good enough if we want to even think about making a impression in the finals.

20 errors man that’s not acceptable from a cellar dweller let alone a top 4 team we could have won that game 25 times discipline, execution, composure, intensity and defence is just not where it should be, I dunno we were very very fortunate tonight AK’s boot is worth his weight in gold.

I look at it this way this year, take Teddy out of last nights team, and we are a bottom four team, not surprised with the result, and should have never expected them to win easily.

doing unbelievably well to be in the top four, but maybe it shows a lot more of the poor quality of teams in the comp, than how good our team is at the moment, because realistically we won’t be able to compete against the full strength sides of storm,panthers,rabbits, and manly probably have our measure too, compared to what our full strength looks like.

doesn’t make it any less frustrating to watch live, because we just expect to win, but after a game it is good to look at what team we are actually fielding these days.

Nine commentators saying there wasn't anything in the Sitili hit while watching it in ultra slow motion. In real time it cops him in the face and probably goes a long way to dislodging the ball. Not malicious, but it is a penalty!

I thought the crusher tonight was one of the biggest dog acts I’ve seen in a while. I will preface that with saying I still haven’t seen a full replay yet but watching it live you could see Gamble holding up Nat Butcher and in the back of my head I was just thinking please don’t come down on his neck and then he went ahead and dropped the full weight of his body onto his neck.

You just don’t see crushers like that anymore, they’re usually accidental or careless, this looked deliberate to me, there’s no way with the focus that there has been on crushers and the way players are being tought to manage the tackle to avoid them that a player just does that accidentally. Tedesco pleaded with Klein to have a look at it and he said the bunker cleared it only for them to put Gamble on report 5mins later. Hutchinson all over again At least this time Butcher was ok but was cheap from Gamble. Deserved a sin bin, borderline send off for mine.

Gamble is a massive grub. Actually in my top three most hated. He’s a prick.

Yeah very true rewind to 2018 and the top 8 was separated by 2 points 1st to 8th we beat all top 4 teams on our way to the GF the competition was much more balanced this year the NRL has become Spanish soccer Real Madrid and Barca competing for silverware every year, everyone else are just numbers.

Frustrating is an understatement haven’t had any cohesion for nearly 2 years in regards to injury, and the apply different rules to Roosters approach from officials but it makes our wins so mig sweeter I’m proud of this club truly I am.
