  • Might struggle to name a team for next week

Copley probably doesn't play after copping a pretty bad concussion and Radley is going to be rubbed out for a while for making contact with a kickers legs with his loading will be lucky to see him before the finals start, finally SST only needs a careless grade 1 charge and he misses a week due to previous charges.

If JWH is unable to go that will be 14 players unavailable.

Does loading come into it if he hasn’t been charged for a similar incident?

if it does, then Radley may as well have mad Monday this week.

The Radley incident attacking the legs of Kelly is just the most stupid rulings I have ever seen from the ref, AND the bunker.
Radley was obviously trying to charge down the ball with his hands.
If you watch the replay carefully, you will see that Radley's STOMACH comes into contact with Kelly;s legs.
What is the ref and the bunker ruling - that Radley intentionally attacked Kelly's legs with his stomach ?.
Is the stomach now an an offensive weapon on the football field?
THIS GAM<E IS GETTING MORE STUPID BY THE MINUTE , AND THE RULINGS ARE GETTING MORE AND MORE STUPID EVERY GAME.
Fark Me, I don't know why I even bother watching this crap.

Did James Graham cop a charge when he hit Adam Reynolds? I can't even remember.

Long turn around may work in Copley's favour but he didn't look good, also concerning that Tupouniua left the field for a HIA, lot of people saying it was a love tap but he didn't look great and stayed down for a while.

Radley looked a bit down at full time not from the game perhaps but what may lie ahead if charged- looking at a grade 1 Dangerous contact as a minimum - 100 points if Grade 2 though 200 points plus loadings and any carryovers

I did post a while back a video of AFL smothers and it looked like Radley was trying to do something similar

              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i82Y9vaMhGI

Under the NRL's system, similar offences within the past two years result in a 50 per cent loading on the base demerit points handed down.

Not sure if the interpretation of similar offence means same grade as well - say you were previously charged with a grade 1 high tackle then copped a grade 2 high tackle charge - both high tackles but different grade as a result of the tackles not being similar in terms of the grading applied

A 20 per cent loading is applied for each non-similar offence in that time, although grade-one incidents drop off after one year.

Carryovers drop off 5 points for each game played without charge

Graham was charged with a grade 1 dangerous contact on Reynolds along with a grade 2 contrary conduct in remonstrating with the Ref over the penalty- Not sure if it was taken into account the Injury Reynolds suffered - knee ligament out for 4 months

According to Harrigan, the player performing the charge down cannot under any circumstances come into contact with the kicker’s leg.

Copley has a history of concussion issues.

What made it a penalty in the end was the way Kelly's left leg got trapped and hyper extended a bit.

If he had fallen over rads, maybe not. At the time i was no penalty as i believe radley should be allowed to attempt a smother, also putting risk to himself. The stomach isnt a weapon as you say but the accidental weight applied is.(crushers etc)

Robbo though penalty sufficient but was also talking about the sitili head high at the end. (penalty sufficient also)

Its tough to lose 50:50s when we dont win many anyway, i still see keary cartwheeling through the air in the 19 Gf after soliolas tackle but the trainer thing happened.

Mate, im still fumin about non sin binning in the first half. A week later from JWH. They are untouchable. No 6 agains first half or something? I was betting the game to end with a penalty count of 2-1 so they could try to even up the ledger with the pen differential from the last 20 years.

                      Its not sport.

A precedent was set for a similar tackle in 2015 - James Graham on Adam Reynolds - Grade 1 Dangerous Contact

According to Harrigan, the player performing the charge down cannot under any circumstances come into contact with the kicker’s leg.

Chook won the penalty count 7-6

Massive miracle there for the Bunnies considering he only missed 3 games after being ruled bout for 4 months by King Salvo

If anything and if I remember correctly, the Graham charge down was made head on therefore Graham would have been more aware of getting Reynolds legs but Radleys one was made from the side which in a way it can be explained that Victors attempt was more about getting to stop the ball.
