  • Copley was ok

    Safe under the high ball.

Took some good and tough runs.

Was defensively sound(not really tested though)

If he plays like that every week I'll be satisfied.

Raises the question... is he playing for a contract if he carves up?

      1. Teddy
      2. Toops
      3. Suaalii
      4. Manu
      5. Copley / Smith / Iku

Smith and Iku are on our books so he's no certainty. However, it'll be fun monitoring what goes on in this space.

I'm glad Dale is here and I hope he maintains the level he set last night whenever he plays for the Roosters.

Expected him to be steady and not flash and didn't disappoint. There's a lot of players that wouldn't have successfully grounded that ball for the try he scored.

Copley was excellent. Brilliant kick returns, safe under the high ball and executed his try well.

And above all he played with pride in the jersey.

Still confused as to why he took the first hit up from the kick off. Got hammered hard and got up a little shaken.

Copley was outstanding against the Broncos

Compare his performance with that of Ikuvalu in the first game against Brisbane

Ikuvalu made 9 crucial blunders, which made the side's task very very difficult

Easts play much much better without Iku on the right wing...FACT

[QUOTE=The Marshall; He is a stop gap at best.

Aw c'mon Wyatt he was very good last night. His career has been at Clubs with good judge recruiters and Robbo was certainly canny to get him in given the circumstances. He's quick too.

Nice return Cops. He will do his job and not let us down.

The try he nailed off Teddy's kick was skilful...some wingers would have fluffed the hands required, or buggered up their chase timing.
