As you know boys I am not really one for stats too much.
I could be credited for having a line break and the bloke marking me might be fatigued or cant tackle.
Sorry Mack but they dont tell much of a story in my mind.
This Copley has got it.
I can sense it.
His positional play and more importantly the way he moves on the field.
At 17 he has size and will get better.
A real prospect.
Its the Vibe.
Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.
Apparently Daniel Vidot, one of the better centres mentioned, is being chased by Bulldogs. He is a big kid, 100+ kg, fast, strong, can break tackles, and is a good defender.
As usual, our club isn't in the hunt for anyone it seems. So many of these players have outplayed Williamson this year.
Exactly, what would we want with a relatively proven 19 year old centre who breaks the line at will, has a great workrate, a tonne of tackle breaks, and lightning speed?

Who the hell aren't they after... Denan Kemp, Inu, Mateo and now Vidot.. Those brown paper bags must be getting a workout again.

Denan Kemp has asked for too much, he won't be coming. Meteo still has a year to go on his contract and please not Inu ... please no. There's only so many silk purses we can turn from sows ears.
Anyway, Vidot is a ... err ... would be a good get. Fingers crossed on that one.
It's all paper talk folks, we're actually pretty tight on the salary cap with a number of upgrades and we're up for Kimmorley's salary next year as the Sharks paid a portion this year. We're looking for another outside back and a prop.
You know what they say: "There's probably 8 clubs that play by the rules, the rest are playing semi final football".
Vidot is deadset head and shoulders above most backs in the NYC.
There's a story going around that the Bulldogs have signed him. Don't know about that, but the Raiders forum (The Greenhouse) is just going off about it.
Vidot and Idris would be the best centre pairing. Unbelievable.
Not only does he score tries in the NYC, but he is big, strong, and has a high workrate too. Look at Ben Barba, he could score tries, but I still don't think he is a First Grader, just a good try poacher.
If you want to know how Williamson is doing in comparison to those aforementioned centres...
Ryan Williamson - 8 games, 5 tries, 4 linebreaks, 0 linebreak assists, 0 try assists, 20 tackle breaks, average 8 runs for 70 metres
These stats are slightly lowered by the fact that he played a total of 8 minutes in his match against Broncos before breaking his jaw, but regardless, they aren't 'amazing' stats by any stretch of the imagination. He is scoring tries, but has set up none for his outside men, isn't really breaking tackles like he should be, and his workrate is not very high at all.
He did come back from a knee reconstruction and has played in a team in which I havn't watched personally but have heard has been worse than our FG side.. I wouldn't read into too much he has done so far this year. 5 tries in 7 full matches in a crap team isn't that bad.
