Can someone tell me why lashing out with your boot in a tackle, and breaking another players jaw, isn't "dangerous contact".?
Why the fu#K isn't the Ref putting this on report? Where's the MRC?
Yet one of our players gets suspended 3 weeks for a charge down?
No wonder I am seriously losing interest in this Sham of a game.
The roosters are down on too many troops this year to make a huge push for the title.
And if we play well, as a team in the finals, we will still get knocked out, the referee bias against us will ensure it happens.
My guess is that the ref for the upcoming Souffs game will be one of Ashley Clown, Ben the Cheat Cummins, or Gerard "Amnesia" Sutton , who Sin Bins our player (JWH) and conveniently forgets to rule the same way against our opposition, later in the game..

I wonder if the Souffs prop, Koloamatangi, will cop a suspension for the crusher that Penrith milked last night? It was very similar to the Angus tackle - the Penrith player twists around mid tackle and leaves the tackler in the crusher position. He was put on report, so presumably he'll get the same charge as Angus. Or maybe not.

I can’t believe Cody Walker didn’t get charged for a blatant swinging arm to a players head..

Also, how was the accidental knee to Mansour's face? Was this any different to accidental contact from an arm or, perhaps, accidentally coming on contact with a players legs after he kicks the ball?

This is becoming a trend. the Panthers kick the ball to the opponents try line and gang tackle with knees, crushers, what ever they line and the refs let them get away with it. No wonder Mansour was 'uncomfortable' under the high ball last night.

“Dangerous Contact – Head/Neck” – means misconduct on the part of a Player constituted by carelessly, recklessly or intentionally making dangerous contact with the head or neck of an opposing player
Likewise, Welch is cleared of wrong doing when leading with his head and contacting Walker in the head while applying kick pressure. No case to answer because it was not deemed deliberate. Victor on the other hand receives a Dangerous Contact charge for making contact attempting a charge down..
The naïve could make a case for Kikau or Welch on the grounds the contact was accidental, but I cant see how you could say those incidents weren't careless or reckless. It doesn't need to be intentional. Same could be said for Latrell lashing out with the boot. Again, maybe not intentional but definitely careless and reckless.
Hard to understand why the charges are so inconsistently or selectively applied.

Would have thought that was obvious.
