I just cant see Souths going any further because Latrell is suspended. I know they got over Penrith without him but that was mainly because Skeletor got in Ivan Clearys head & frazzled him, Des is too smart for that.
Surely if Manly aim up & man handle Su'A, Kolomatangi (Souths best forward), Arrow & Nicholls they will have enough strike in the backs to win. Blake Taaffe might of gone alright last week but Manly if they're smart should bomb the sh!t out of him with Turbo running through catching the ball above him & just terrorising him. Blake Taaffe is NOT going to get Souths a Premiership. Trust me.
Manly were not extended in the Chooks game so will have gas in the tank to take on Souths and have a real show of beating Souths if they defend well enough - Obviously Souths will want to do a Storm on Turbo so one would figure Hasley has some plans to combat this as well as testing out the Souths diminutive fullback.
Souths defence will tip the result their way
Souths by 8
Storm vs Penrith - This is a day game with temperatures nudging 30 degrees so this will take it out of both sides - The two previous games for Penrith may come back to bite them later in both halves and they also have some injury concerns to 2 players ( To'o and Kikau).
Storm will have more points in them

Heart with Manly.......but I know/predict vermin will get all the 50/50 calls, the 6 again lucky dips just like the riff against a better Parra side. Chuckles Bennett to exploit the system, maybe a few calls this week to Annesley and the vermin to get a shoe into the GF against the Drizz where they will get taught a footy lesson.

Trell is a huge loss but Manly are too inconsistent, haven't beaten any team above them and lack the wholistic team thing that Souffs have developed under Bennett. Melbourne, however, might be the bridge too far that Manly was to the Chooks last week but after the belting Melbourne and the Riff will give one another the opportunity will be there.
It was a good season as it turned out. Younguns with plenty of NRL miles on the clock. A respectable place in the semis with a patched up young squad and good prospects ahead. The retirement losses of Jake and Cordner will endure for some time to come of course.
Some on this site should prepare themselves - "Glory, Glory" may yet ring from the balconies of the houso towers which will be good thing for those poor buggers. God knows they have little else to celebrate for or with - a few tepid wieners in a thermos.

Friday nights a 50-50 to me, it comes down to the forwards & then who will step up Cody & Reynolds or Tom & DCE, I know who I would put my money on & thats Tom & DCE.

The reality is killing me...Souffs should beat Manly well ..Hoping not ..come on Zues and the Greek Gods banish these wanks.
Penriff and Melbs to slug it out hard ..leaving Souffs with a dream GF.
Get the straight jacket out.Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
