It also took JWH an extra year to get back to his best playing the same position

Recovery time and performance post an ACL injury is not what it used to be, Victor Radley being the most recent example.

          Lovely.
Now what I need is a statement from Robbo or the Club along the lines of:
"Talk of Robbo leaving is garbage".

You're acting like JWH's injury was 20 years ago; there is a mental aspect to this injury that can't be predicted. I don't think people should be expecting Collins to be starting at or even reaching the level he finished last season and began this season when he returns next year.

Just remember that JWH tore his ACL in rnd 23.

Lindsay tore his in rnd 8.

That's an almost 4 months extra recovery time.

                  SST won’t be with us.

got a feeling there is something internal going on with Tauks and the clubs stance on covid and the vaccination regime.

let’s not forget he did post on Instagram about the ‘freedom’ rally last month..

Speaking of Siua, geez I would love to see our pack channel GF day 2018 on Friday night and just dominate from the outset. That would be as good as winning the premiership in my eyes if we could lower the boom on these pretenders

The first half of the 2018 GF was perfect, don’t think we’ll ever play better than that.

The player I’ll miss that’s actually leaving is Liu. He’s been on fire and carried the team through parts of this year. His hit and spin move has been working a treat and I hope he plays out the year in the same form.
                        ..it’ll be interesting to see

100%. The last two weeks has been the best fortnight of footy of his career in my opinion. He’s a huge loss, especially if we have another bad injury toll next year. At full strength I think Egan Butcher is someone who will be equally reliable and a similar sort of threat in the middle with his tackle breaking ability. Such a shame, we’d be really challenging for the title if we had the same injury toll as Souths right now. At this stage we’d need no more injuries or suspension until the end of the year and above 80% completions every game to be any real shot.

And it still took JWH in to 2017 to re-gain his form and arguably until 2018 to reach his best

It’s called being realistic, let the guy come back without expectation because roosters fans will trash him after a few weeks if he isn’t playing at a high level
