But my original point was the vaccine does not stop you from getting COVID or from spreading it. I don’t see how the spread is limited if you can still get it.
But anyway , I am getting my first jab Friday so I should be right to go for round 1 next year.

Because it reduces its effects and infectious period. It also reduces its transmissibility so the chances of passing it on are also reduced. So overall, by limiting the viruses effectiveness limits it’s spread. The vaccine assists with this. It’s not a cure, never was. It’s a tool and I’m thankful you, like others are using that tool to help yourself and others.

The best possible outcome is NATURAL IMMUNITY !, hands down.
that's what everybody that is healthy should be doing, no vaccine is needed for most people. If you are high risk, then by all means get vaccinated.

Up until a few weeks ago our rates of vaccination were low. it takes time to filter through the system, you will see more vaccinated in hospital very soon.

if the vaccine caused people to go to hospital then, even when vaccination rates were low, the % of people in hospital who had been vaccinated would be greater than the % of people in the wider community who had been vaccinated, that hasn't happened. the opposite has happened. the vaccine works

What you say is actually not true. the unvaccinated should expect a predictable outcome; it's the vaccinated who are in an experiment, and which is uncertain. I hope we are ALL OK.
