Whether Latrell was playing at Souths or the Roosters his grubby game would of progressed to where it is now.
In all my time of watching footy there has always been dirty players so I except it as part of the game. I still dont dislike Latrell & I love the way he plays & I still wish he was at the Chooks but I understand the hatred toward him, its cut deep because it was on one of our top players that he has belted.
He'll do his 6 weeks or what ever he gets but it wont change him, Latrell is a big rough, tough, dirty, grubby player with a real attitude & thats why he will continue to play rep footy & be a big name player for at least another 7 years.

He’ll be an out and out prick for all of them. Hopefully his career doesn’t last that long.

How you can have anything but disdain for him after that incident amazes me. It’s not just the illegal hit. It’s all the circumstances surrounding it.

Just got my copy of the Saturday Telegraph.
Front page...top left corner "Inside The Mind Of Latrell Mitchell".."Loved and loathed, what makes this NRL star tick p27" complete with photo, in Souths jersey.

p27, a full page ...Saturday Extra..THE LATRELL ENIGMA...2 large photos plus two smaller ones...in Souths jerseys.

p28, a full page... "Inside the complex mind of a superstar" ... more photos, one with Roosters player on his back on the ground and Mitchell in Souths jersey, with arm raised and about to slam the ball down.

p29, another full page...photo with *painted* face.
Quote:: "I dare anyone to spend 24 hours in his shoes, and cop what he cops, and remain as resilient as he is" - 'Close friend George Rose'.

Photo of Joey's face, photo of the tackle, and copy of 3 texts to Mitchell with the word 'grub' in them.

        ***
He chose Souths...He's their guy now.
        They're welcome to him.
I've erased him from my Roosters mind...and would never like to see him in our jersey ever again, no matter what.

My not easts mates hated him when he was with us , Had the same names for him as I do now.

Did anyone see cronks missus on the back page by the way, I always watch intently what these insiders imply, same with anasta

What does resilient mean in a person?
Psychologists define resilience as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress—such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems, or workplace and financial stressors. ... That's the role of resilience.

The guy makes almost $1m a year, I dare him to come do my job and pay a mortgage on a single income that's been reduced due to these covid lockdowns and curfews. These overpaid footballers are so out of touch with the real world it's insane.

                Can we erase Braith too?

Can’t stand his on going anti-Rooster sentiment. Even Blocker and Tallis provide more insight than this clown.

I find myself agreeing with this statement.
Maybe he's over compensating to make sure he's not seen as favouring the Roosters, as he was once our captain.
                  Maybe not.
Anyway, I've had enough of him too...so he goes on 'mute'.

The lashing out with his feet type of carry on is the reason for Latrell not being given the benefit of the doubt around intent in the Manu tackle.
The cheap shots say a fair bit about his character, so he only has himself to blame for any backlash.
Act like a dckhd expect to be treated like one

He was pissed off that he wasn't told that Trent Robinson was going to be the 2013 coach-said he wouldn't have left if he knew. Im not even sure if he had a choice!!

                          What happened with Anasta?
He played for the Tigers after us, left us in 2012.
Was his contract not renewed and he replaced?...then we won the 2013 title.
He seems down on us for some reason.

From memory I think he was told he could look elsewhere. We had signed Jimmy Maloney over a year out.

He claimed that he went to the tigpies caz he wanted to play with Benji. But Benji had left the tigpies to go to yawnion
