You know what shits me..the lies all players and ex players tell..you know the usual xrap no player goes out to hurt etc...
If any of you have played footy at any level..park club comp etc.
then you would know accidents do happen but more odd situations.. head highs elbows knees etc happen because you put them on and you mean it and you can fake them into accidents.
I never hit a bloke illegally or git sent off but I have got revenge on blokes in games that did it to meone example this dirty bloke was hitting us with elbows and head highs knees every thing.. he got me..first time I was ever knocked out woke up smelling salts by ambulance blokes.
    I stayed on the field.
I recovered as the minutes rolled.
Told my captain I'm gonna teach that Khunt a lesson.
I HAD A MEAN SHOULDER CHARGE.
I said to my cap I am going to break his arm so he can't use it again.
As the farknuckle moved in on me to tackle me ..in one motion I jigged to his side smashed my shoulder into his arm ..broke it in 3 places..he was a Saints u21s player..ended his career that day.
Moral of the story is a lot of so called accidental hits are purposeful hits .
Latrells was on purpose he meant it and got high on it..fact ..the NZ bloke a few weeks back that git suspended was a genuine careless mistake..
Go back to the 2018 GF ..Latrell throws melbs center into the signals way after bundling him out..thought he was gonna cost us a penalty or sin bin..lucky nothing .
Latrells scores running over Salter.. got up throws his knees into slater a couple of times ...thought then again he was gonna cop it..was shocked on the replays no mention of it.I was sweating on it as a fan on GF day.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

I had the misfortune to be in a lift with him in Newcastle at a game. He was talking to some Knights fans. They asked who he was going for. Straight quote, "Not the roosters. I hate the roosters. They buy everyone.".

          What a moron!

Did he mean it or was he trying to seriously injure Dugan?? No way- but he was at fault. He got off very lightly-just 1 game

Same with the Manu incident- no way did he mean to seriously injure Manu, but he was at fault, it was reckless and if he goes into tackles in the same manner it may pay off 9 out of 10 times but the 1 time a player falls slightly into the tackle then you're going to get the same outcome. He thus far hasn't shown any remorse, he thinks he has done nothing wrong- if thats so and he continues in the same style his NRL days are numbered.
The difference, confirmed by Kent, is we did all we could to keep him under control. Souffs "let him run wild". He is bigger than their club. It's a recipe for disaster and I couldn't be happier.

if latrell chose not to go in so hard and collected him in the same spot it would have been careless, but he went in recklessly. for gus to say that people are only talking about it cos of the injury to joey is dumber than dumb - the injury is evidence of how the tackle went wrong. no injury (cos of a diff tackle) - no charge.

To my observation, it's likely he is Rothfield or Kent's drinking buddy, and he simply got offered a job at the pub at 2am by mistake.

I cannot concieve of any other reason he'd be there.

No insight or genuine analysis, zero personality, a face like a prune that has been punched about 450 times at point blank range.
The whole show is just self serve for news ltd journos to get on TV and talk about how good they are. I hate the carnts and can’t wait for the day the game is rid of them. Kenty is the only journo I have no problem with being on the shows and to a lesser extent buzz but Crawley is by far the worst

I was gobsmacked that Red&Green Hoops on NRL 360 got away with saying Lattrell was out of control at Easts and Wayne Bennett had been able to make him more disciplined! What a pile of bull! It is the other way around!

Did Lattrell mean to hurt Joey?...you betcha.
Would he have done it if he knew the outcome?...No

I have said this to my friends and they are all in agreement. You know what you are doing when you play, and to say you don't go in to hurt people is BS, like when you hit someone just as they pass the ball up in the Ribs. Everything you do in the game you have control off. I was discussing this way before the Trell incident.
All the knee's into players on the ground, players rushing in from the back fence looking to put a big hit on and then saying they didn't mean to hurt them is BS. Yes Trell didn't mean to hit him in the head but to say its Manu's fault because his dropped a few inches is crazy stuff. If you leave little room for error and something goes wrong, you are at fault not the defending player.

That's like the comment I keep hearing and reading from Gould and the like. 'The Roosters have a few players who have been in trouble for high shots so they can't talk'

How many facial fractures have our guys caused this year? How many times have our players seriously injured an opponent through an illegal tackle?

                                Zero!
