My son is a massive Liverpool tragic as well. Took him to Anfield two games before they suspended the season last year!

The points I liked best were:
- Nick knows his footy better than anybody! Dunno why it surprises me, but a lot of big wigs in business love to talk strategy, but are pretty clueless when it comes to fine details. He seems to know all the players very intimately (even random kids & fringe players). Notably, Whyte is gonna be a superstar.

- These days we don't have any players who are a little bit rough around the edges. There's a big focus on recruiting high quality individuals.

- Games can no longer be won purely on defence. Due to rule changes, there's bugger all you can do unless you have somebody like Pap, Teddy, Trbo, Cleary...etc. A number of top-8 teams this year have negative PDs because they're winning more games than they're losing but when they lose, they're getting blown away.

- We're working on the injuries. Oddly it's just happened... our training and staff have been largely the same so it's really odd. We're working overtime to sort out what's going on there though.

FSG are some of the tightest owners around. Would love to have them gone, even if it meant replacing them with Arab owners with money coming out of there arses.
